"Friendly and welcoming staff at hotel reception but somewhat rude at the hotel restaurant. We stayed over the weekend and it was really noisy at night because of the restaurants around and loud hotel guests. The gym is tiny and in the basement, next to the restaurant bathrooms; it turned me down to use it. Getting in and out of the parking is a hurdle since you have to get the access code to the garage elevator from the Vine hotel. Overall, it is an instagrammable hotel but not one I will return...

"We had a fantastic stay! The staff were super friendly, attentive and helpful throughout our stay. The room was spacious and spotless, with views over the sea - beautiful! The hotel is located near lots of great restaurants and has a bus stop nearby to easily get around Funchal. The car park is fairly small but we had no issues finding a space for three nights. We'd definitely recommend the hotel."

"I liked the option of purchasing the dinner Buffett while I was there. After exploring all day it was nice to just go downstairs and enjoy the wide selection of food. I also enjoyed the bus stop right in front of the hotel that was easy to use. Everyone was friendly and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. "We had an absolutely perfect stay at Pestana Promenade! The rooms are lovely and spacious. The only thing that bugged me was the big arch blocking our view of the sea partially. A few rooms have this problem. The staff are amazing, especially the cleaning ladies who do a wonderful job and are very kind. Amazing staff in the restaurant as well! "We stayed here for the first 3 nights of our stay in Madeira, lovely hotel with great views out to the Atlantic Ocean. Hotel is situated on the promenade of Ponta Da Sol and takes up about 2/3rds of it. It’s been built in a sympathetic style to fit in with the local area. Breakfast was included in our room rate and we found a good selection of hot and cold food. We never used the indoor pool but did you’d the interface on the 4th floor on a couple of occasions.
