Nice cozy guest house with double doors to a terrace with lots of evening sun, all equipped, in a rural area, close to water sport facilities (Kaag eiland). Highway access 2 minutes away, free parking, close to Amsterdam, Leiden, Haarlem (30 min) and beaches in Katwijk and Noordwijk (20 min). Ideal position for cycling routes to the green hart and the coast. With option to use the sauna for a small fee.

The guest house is located in a small rural town, in the middle of tulip fields (n the season), close to the Keukenhof, Schiphol Airport and Kaag Eiland ( for water sports). Our street connects to the Ringvaart, which is a 60 kilometer canal which surrounds the municipality Haarlemmermeer and is great for cycling and walking. Please be aware the guesthouse is close to the airport, so quite often you can hear plains can fly over.

If you are looking for a party holiday this place is not for you. We live in a quiet area, our neighbors like their peace and we don’t want to disturb them. Due to limited public transport in Abbenes we strongly recommend coming by car. Please be mindful before you book.

There are many free parking spaces on the streat behind the guesthouse.

The high way to Amsterdam, Leiden and several beaches is 2 minutes away.

If you want to use the train you can drive there within 5-8 minutes and park your car for free. From the Nieuw Vennep train station it is 9 minutes to Schiphol Airport and 28 minutes to Amsterdam Central Station. If you go the other way you can travel to Leiden and The Hague.
