Absolute gem of a little family run hotel. Staff were excellent run by a very enthusiastic Olive. Food was really good and portions were generous. Good place for a touring base will require car and travel. Reasonably priced. We went there to track relatives and were successful.

Disappointing
Shower head bracket was broken and clearly had been for some time. When I advised a staff member she acted surprised. There was no soap available, the dispensers were empty within the shower and at the sink. Choice of food was poor, there were four menu choices, At 5pm I was advised that there was no chicken left and one homemade burner left. Breakfast was good. There was reasonable car park space at the rear of the hotel and for security gates were locked. The rat traps on the entry from the rear of the hotel were off putting.

Made room for us at dinner even on a busy night with several large parties. Great food. Beds were comfortable. Parking worked out fine but is limited. Very friendly helpful staff.
