We found the property very easily as good instructions had been given. The property was well appointed and welcoming. We were able to do the two things we wanted: getaway and chill
We thought it was a peaceful location but it was a shame it rained most of the time. Jeremy is an excellent host. We rented over Christmas and even set up a Christmas tree with lights.

Stunning location but unfortunately the property seemed unloved.
The place was a stunning location very tranquil n relaxing lovely barn
5star rate to staying here lovely welcoming of bread n milk waiting for your arrival lovely gesture the barn is beautifully laid out n excellent clean n comfy lovely walk in the evening round the barn n easy to go n explore Wales n come n stay again give this place a try as well worth it 5**
We enjoyed spending time in this clean and comfortable house. It is nicely situated in the landscape with an inspirational view into a picturesque valley. Everything worked well, and the bathroom was nice, with good shower and water pressure. Although the hosts are next door, the property is self-sufficient, with access via lockbox. The information binder featuring places to eat and nearby hikes, along with oven instructions, was helpful, as were the marked trash bins. We enjoyed visiting The Angel Inn pub near Grosmont castle, one of the three easily-accessible castle ruins in the area. We climbed Skirrid Fawr, an easy hike with amazing views, and Pen Y Fan, a challenging hike with a top-of-the-world payoff.
Nice renovation of an old farm building. Comfortable and generally spacious. The only downside was the layout of the kitchen which is quite spread out. The cooker consists of 2 electric rings on top of a combi oven which stands on a worktop which means that the pans are very high. This felt a bit unsafe unless you are particularly tall. Unfortunately the local gastro pub is a bit too far to walk!

Cleaner was fantastic! Delayed communication at the start and would’ve benefitted from some further information ie we requested a hot tub so rather than it wasn’t an option would have been better to be sign posted to the other lodge with the hot tub. Also, would benefit from a WiFi code being given due to poor signal
Beautiful annexe cottage, we were 2 adults and a dog. Stunning location in the middle of nowhere. Limited kitchen/cooking facilities, limited crockery even for 2 people, but all in all that’s our only slight criticism! Would definitely return
The property was cute, cosy, and welcoming. The location is idilic, set in the countryside up a long drive, surrounded by fields, wildlife and peace and quiet. It was warm with underfloor heating, compact but adequate for 2 people on holiday.
Very simple cooking facilities but enough for our needs. Very clean, lovely bathroom with soft fresh towels and complimentary toiletries, which came in handy as we forgot to pack soap!!
Tv quite small but again ok for evening viewing as out all day.
Comfortable bed and plenty of space in bedroom.
We had a great stay and would definitely be recommending to friends and family.
Me and my partner had an amazing night at the Demesne Farm. Gorgeous views from this stunning little cottage, super well equipped and clean, isolated from everyone... On the diversion from the main road to the Cottage, you’ll get hundreds of sheep featuring on the driveway...
“What did we like ???? Well.......everything really. The room. The location. The vey warm welcome. Beautifully decorated room and bathroom. Everything was just top quality. We will be going back.”
Stayed here for 2 nights in June and couldn't of asked for more. Really well furnished lodge with all the amenities you need in the local area. The village of Skenfrith is a 3 min drive away where there is a really nice pub serving great food and also allows dogs. Around the corner from the pub are the castle ruins.
I've seen reviews where people have noted that there isn't a TV downstairs, why would you want one when you're out in the middle of the countryside.
Would definitely stop again.
Idyllic location. So tranquil, with excellent access to walks and places to visit. Jeremy is a fabulous host with nothing too much trouble. The accommodation has everything one needs for a short break. The welcome pack is informative and we cannot wait to return to explore further. Book it - you won’t be disappointed.
