"Lovely hotel about a 15/20 minutes walk from the town. Sitting on Clew Bay, there are a few bars with restaurants in the area and a lovely restaurant on the 4th floor of the hotel. A taxi into town was about €10 euro if you don't fancy the walk. Staff were excellent and very friendly, I paid extra for the balcony, definitely worth it. There is a small pool, steam room and sauna if you fancy relaxing 🤗"

"Host's mail ID and phone number provided on the booking page were invalid and we couldn't contact the host beforehand reaching the property. No details about check-in were shared and we ended up waiting outside the property until a caretaker showed up with the keys to the property. House was in decent condition. Faced few issues like the tumble dryer not working, broken bed frames etc. Shower tap got stuck few times but worked ok. House have a decent enough parking space with a good location to major attractions."

"It was my second stay at the hotel. Everything was just perfect. Comfy bed, nice bar, friendly and welcoming staff. Perfect location, short walk to town. "

"There were no instructions about how to turn on or adjust heat or hot water. Some dishes were not clean. Kitchen was missing some essentials (no coffee maker, no salad spinner, no covered casserole dish, no salad bowl,. But the washing machine leaked badly, gushing water.The drying rack was broken.This well situated cottage has three bedrooms and once things are fixed and the house instructions are you improved it could be ok. A table broken since October has not been fixed 6 months later.I have never offered a negative review but this house was not up to anyone's standards. "

"This is the best stay I ever had: gorgeous breakfast, big room with view on sea and mountains, you hear the sea all night you see the stars at night. You have a desk and a round table- we stay 4 days- a double and a single bed. We dreamed looking at the sea when it was too bad to go out, we could walk to the beach when it was nice. The only thing is the check-in: it is between 2 and 5 pm if not arranged otherwise but we didn’t know that all places to eat were closed at 5 pm - we were outside the normal tourist period- so we were quiet hungry the first night!"
