"House was spotless, cosy and warm. The owner thought of little things you may forget to bring with you, condiments, cleaning stuff ect. The house location is perfect, half way between Keem beach and Achill sound where you enter on to the Island. We had such a nice time there and hope to return next summer when the weather is better. "Excellent location by the quay, approx 30 minute walk from the main town. Modern conversion of old mill building, we paid extra for a balcony and felt it was very good value, with lots of extras provided by the hotel. Comfortable bed, good sized room, private balcony, good bathroom, very good bars and restaurants (grill on ground floor, roof top with views). It was quiet with only a couple of other pubs nearby, although both had excellent beer gardens overlooking the sea. There is also a 90 minute cruise around the islands 5 minutes away. The leisure facilities looked good but were unfortunately closed for maintenance during our stop."
