"Very peaceful and a nice central location to all of Lake Placid activities. Doors are a bit tough and it’s difficult to drag suitcases since it’s all gravel. Would stay again!"

"We like the proximity to Saranac main Street mostly. Overall clean it was contemporary. We liked the tape in the room. But we couldn’t get all the TV channels you have to pay for Some. I do think they could have some shelving in the bathroom toiletries, hooks to hang things."

"Our stay was pleasant. However, I had the flu the last day and a half. I was unable to enjoy the Fall Festival. The breakfast was delicious."

Cambria Hotel Lake Placid - Lakeside Resort

"I greatly enjoyed my stay at the Cambria Lake Placid. The room was clean, comfortable, and spacious (especially the bathroom and shower). Also, the room was outfitted nicely with a Keurig coffee maker, microwave, and fridge. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I had breakfast at the Haystack restaurant located on the property twice and each time found the service to be attentive and the food very good. The location of the hotel is great too, a bit removed from the busy main strip in Lake Placid. Highly recommend and will definitely stay at the Cambria for my next trip to the Adirondacks."

"Our room was lovely, very "Adirondacks". Location was perfect for us, and there are lots of activities and places to eat nearby. Next time, I'll make sure to include indoor-pool time!"
