"In Genova il metodo di check in per questo tipo di struttura e tutto online tramite email Ti spiegano come devi prendere le chiavi sennò sei abituato è un po' un casino. "Great location between train station and downtown and ferry docks to Portofino, Fruttoso, etc. We based here to explore Cinque Terre, Portofino and Santa Margherita Hotel features an excellent gym, helpful and engaged staff, clean rooms, solid WiFi and seems dog friendly. The property is well maintained and looks much younger and hipper than the 20 years it’s been around. I’d definitely would stay at LHP again. Did not try food or drinks, but breakfast was 30 euros per person."

"Our stay was fantastic! The parking process was easy, they had reserved spots for check-in right outside the front doors. Once checked in, they had a valet come get our car and park it for a fee, definitely worth it! The hotel is older, but modernized and very clean. Fantastic location! A few minute walk from the harbour and lots to see on the street it is located. Lots of restaurants nearby!"

"I usually do not write reviews. But my stay here left me with a bad taste in my mouth. The hotel looks very nice from the outside and is super well located. Inside though, it has a very creepy feeling and the staff just felt off. As a young woman traveling for me is scary by itself. It did not help that while I was trying to take a shower, a man tried to break into my room and was banging my door down. I called the emergency service in the hotel and by the time they came the man was gone and therefore nothing was done. It might sound dramatic but this was definitely a traumatizing experience. If you are a solo traveler, I wouldn’t recommend."

I needed a place to park and had no issues. The walk to downtown is easy and enjoyable. I would recommend to my closest friends, not just you. ;)"

"The property is new and very clean. The amenities are nice. Simone was super friendly and helped us with many questions. Honestly, the rest of the staff, not so much. The area is nice for walking around despite the busy traffic. Everything closes at 8 except fine restaurants that you need a reservation for. Highly recommend the hotel but don’t think we’ll return Genoa."
