"Beautiful property with a nice pool, great food and direct access to a cliff walking path with stunning ocean views. My husband and I especially liked the short walk from the hotel to Ponte da Piedade at sunset. The rooms were spacious, clean and well kept. The hotel’s property is a 10 minute drive to downtown Lagos which was fine because Ubers were readily available and extremely affordable. The food was delicious but I think my husband got food poisoning during our stay and instead of trying to accommodate or help, the manager deflected blame away and said that “the only way to know if it’s food poisoning is to have a diagnosis from a doctor” and that there was no way to know for sure it was from the food at the hotel despite having lunch and dinner on the property the day prior. My husband had to stay in the room and miss a day of vacation to recover. They sent him some toast, bananas and apple juice but honestly, I was disappointed in how the situation was handled."

"The best thing about this hotel is its location. Its a clean hotel with great staff. The beach is a long walk from the hotel but its beautiful. You do not need water shoes here. The beach is all smooth sand . There are numerous restaurants and shopping all within walking distance to the hotel as well as tours. So great location. I do recommend this hotel to future tourists. Only negative was the room we were assigned. Its on the left side of the front desk, very old rooms, large with large balcony. To access the room we had to go down some beautiful but deeply winding stairs. To go to breakfast we had another set of beautiful but very winding stairs. This area was not safe for seniors with those stairs, yet many seniors were assigned those rooms. I would recommend to the hotel not to put seniors in that area of their hotel."

"Beautiful hotel, pool immaculate and rooms lovely. Cleaned rooms every day and all staff helpful and friendly. Breakfast was sumptuous,would highly recommend this hotel if you want a total relax. Sept was lovely time to go, high twenties and loads of sunbeds available."

"This place was great. The staff were super friendly. The Hotel was perfect location to reach everything we wanted to reach. We had a rental car which opened us to explore what the local scene had to offer. Beaches, Night markets, Supermarkets, Late night local Ice creams shops, Festivals, the lot! Underground parking was excellent at keeping the car cool. Rental towels (10 euro Cash deposit each) were very convenient as we were travelling very light. The Aqua Park was great fun. Be sure to check your child's height. 140cm + gets you full access to everything. Sub 120cm excludes some of the rollercoasters and big slides. Sub 110cm excludes a lot of the slides. Only a few Kiddy slides left to explore. A quick 5 min walk to the park. Wrist bands get you straight it. You will have to leave your stuff unattended if you plan on moving around the park as a family. Or you can rent a locker for 10euro per day. But everyone leaves their stuff on the grassed area and there seems to be a level of trust amongst everyone. We left our towels, phones and flip flops and never had anything missing."
