Family Vacation
Great house with plenty of room. Pool and views at night were great. Some appliances were challenging to work but I think that was language barrier. We visited lots of great beaches in the area. You definitely need a car. Great vacation.

Beautiful property
What a lovely, relaxing home this is. There are neighbors nearby, but the house is situated so that it looks over the valley, but you can't see the houses nearby, making it feel very private. The upstairs balcony was one of my favorite spots. At the end of the day, it was the perfect place to sit and relax with a glass of wine, and listen to the sounds of the Algarve at night.

Huge house, impeccably clean and well maintained
Everything was fantastic. Near lots of things to do and see, yet in a very private and quiet spot. It was impeccably clean -- it was like being in a brand-new home.

Magnificent Property
A bit difficult to find initially, but this property exceeded all expectations. Clean, well-furnished, and very tastefully decorated, there were personal touches throughout. Great views, well-maintained, comfortable beds ... we loved everything about it. A few suggestions: it's nice not to have to go out and buy kitchen basics like salt, pepper, paper towels and napkins, but these are minor. Overall we loved the property and will be back if at all possible.

Beautiful
Beautiful property and house. After a day of sightseeing or the beach it was great to get back and relax by the pool and enjoy a barbecue. Kids had fun playing a game of ping pong or foosball.

Beautiful Get Away!
Our family of 4 had a wonderful stay at Sergio & Sonia’s property. The house was perfect and exactly what we had hoped for and was a fitting end to our amazing trip around Portugal.

Our great stay at Casa da Fonte
We had a great stay at this lovely villa set in a peaceful and secluded location. It has all the facilities necessary for an effortless stay and is beautifully presented. Whilst staying we had a family wedding near by and the villa was a great base from which to operate. We also had our six month old grandson with us and he was able to enjoy his first dip in the swimming pool. On a practical note there are supermarkets nearby in Loule and a number of nice restaurants in the small towns and villages around Telihero. Sergio and Sonia were easily accessible online and came back quickly. Housekeeper Gloria was lovely as well. In summary a great place for a relaxing family holiday.

Wonderful and beautiful vacation
We were 2 families with 2 kids each, Villa is in a stunning and comfortable location but a car is a must. We enjoyed the facilities and Sergio and Sonia are really helpful. Kids also enjoyed the house, we definitely recommend this to friends. Wifi worked brilliantly worked for work also. It may be great if the temperatures were a little bit higher.

This property is beautiful. The owners are so lovely and responsive to any queries. We would highly recommend this resort to anyone. The view from the villa was amazing and an excellent location to use as a base for day trips to explore the Algarve and Lison. This is one of the best resorts we have stayed in to date. Home was very comfortable , nice kitchen.Appliances were a little difficult and the washer/ dryer took hours to use. Needed any type of towel in the kitchen.Could use exhaust fans in bathrooms.Overall home was very comfortable for 3 couples.Beds were comfortable.Location was nice with a good view.Nice pool area .Wish we were there when the weather was warmer, but the owners did offer to heat the pool.Nice to have a barbecue.Wifi worked well.Cable channels limited to Portuguese.Landscaping was beautiful.Lots of amenities.Would recommend this home to a friend.

Country location with a stunning view and close enough to drive to everything in the Algarve. House has what you need and the pool is a real plus, making it hard to leave the house for the day.

Fantastic villa with views to match
Just back from our stay at Casa da Fonte and already wishing we were back there. It provided a great base to explore the Algarve, although the kids just wanted to stay in the pool all week! The villa was more than big enough for seven of us, we will definitely be back.

Lovely place up on the hills with great views and relatively private. The pool and BBQ area were well used and perfect (though BBQ hadn't been cleaned by previous tenants sadly). Clean, spacious, minimalist rooms and excellent air conditioning proved to be invaluable during the hottest parts of the day. Our baby slept really well in the cot provided and the high chair was perfect and easy to clean with the outside tap. My only criticisms are small and didn't dampen our holiday in the slightest. The water never gets hot, only warm... So not so great for cleaning baby bottles. The neighbours are doing some refurbishments, this could prove irritating though we found them reasonably descrete. Perhaps it would be helpful to have a few more basic kitchen essentials like washing machine liquid, olive oil, pepper etc. The lack of WIFI was great for getting away from work, but will clearly be missed by some visitors. The housekeeper was lovely and very helpful though seemed suprised by our arrival and wasn't quite ready for us. We had a great holiday and would return again if we chose the Algarve.

nous avons apprécié ce séjour la ville est magnifique très propre, très jolie piscine et tout confort. Propriétaire très accueillant et à l'écoute. Le paysage est magnifique et très dépaysant Santa Barbara de Nexe est située à 10-15 min de Faro en voiture et pas très loin des commerces. La voiture est indispensable Nous recommandons cette villa notamment pour les familles avec enfants.

Stunning Villa - all round
I am not normally the type to review, however this was a must. The people renting this villa are really nice, and after collecting the keys the villa is totally private. The villa inside was comfortable, with new furniture, it was also clean and fresh with modern decor. The Outside of the villa had a nice sized pool, with nice views of the sounding area and the sea. There was plenty of places to relax outside including a 1st floor sun terrace. Although the villa is near to the town, I would say a car is a must, it's up a small hill and walking it would be too tiring. It was the perfect place for our holiday requirements.

L'espace des pièces et les jeux sont très appréciables. la localisation de la villa dans un coin calme est parfait, tout en permettant de visiter l'Algarve depuis de coin central. La piscine chauffée a fait la joie des enfants. Tout était parfait.

Perfect Holiday Accommodation
We spent 2 weeks in this wonderful villa and we really enjoyed every single minute. We were five - me & my husband, my parents and my uncle and let me tell you, this was the best house we´ve ever rented. It´s spacious, very luxurious, above average clean and very well equipped. It has a large pool, we wanted to leave no more at over 30 degrees temperature. We had a beautiful view to the sea and it´s quiet & peaceful in the neighborhood. We recommend to rent a car so you´re flexible in your activities. There´s also a small Mini Market for grocery nearby but it´s easier with a car, especially with the hot temperatures. The opportunity to play table tennis is a big plus, so it´s never getting boring (exept you love table tennis ...) We definately would recommend this accommodation & also book it the next time in portugal!! Thanks also to Sergio & Sonia for the perfect communication in advance and we hope you will keep this in that perfect condition as it is.

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans la maison de Sergio et Sonia. Cette dernière offre tout le confort possible et est très bien agencée. Nous la recommandons. Nous étions avec nos enfants qui s'y sont beaucoup plu. Les propriétaires sont très attentifs à ce que tout se passe bien. Par contre, la voiture est indispensable. La maison étant au calme à la campagne (et offrant une vue magnifique!) pour faire les courses et aller à la plage, c'est nécessaire. Merci à Sergio et Sonia!

Dejligt hus med masser af plads.
Rigtig god beliggenhed med let tilkørsel og let adgang til motorvej. Gode udendørs faciliteter, men kunne godt bruge nogle bløde hynder. Fantastisk god respons fra ejer nå vi ringede med spørgsmål som prompte blev fulgt op. Alt dette medførte at vi havde en rigtig god ferie og sov godt om natten da alle rum havde aircondition. Superbe propriété. État impeccable. Propreté. Calme. Magnifique vue sur le soleil levant
Rien à redire. Superbe propriété. Nous avions demandé à chauffer la piscine et elle était délicieuse pour le mois d'avril. Maison très agréable à vivre en famille. Les commerces (chaîne Appolonia que je vous recommande sont à même pas dix minutes de voiture. Localisation de la villa assez judicieuse. On est à 5 minutes en voiture de l'entrée d'autoroute ou encore de la Nationale 125. Les belles plages sont à environ une grosse demi heure de route. N'oubliez pas de visiter Faro qui vaut aussi le détour bien que pas très bien cotée dans les guides de voyage. Loulé très proche aussi et les restos du coin sont à même pas 10 minutes de voiture aussi. Bref, une bien belle maison pour passer vos vacances en famille. Mérite largement les 5 etoiles !!!!! NB : les propriétaires sont joignables très facilement et nous avons eu la surprise de voir le femme de ménage en milieu de séjour !!!!!!!

Nous avons séjourné à 3 couples très très agréablement dans cette superbe maison très bien agencée. La vue est magnifique La literie est très confortable, la maison très propre. Nous aurions peut être une remarque concernant les ustensiles de cuisine en nombre limité; une grande poêle ainsi qu'une passoire auraient été appréciées... Nous tenons à saluer la gentillesse et disponibilité des propriétaires toujours très réactifs aux questions que nous avons pu poser. Le ménage fait en milieu de séjour par la femme de ménage a été également très apprécié

magnifique villa à quelques km de Faro
La villa est moderne avec tout le confort. Il y a 3 belles chambres avec chacune une salle de bain et une clim- chauffage dans chaque chambre. La literie est de bonne qualité . Les propriétaires sont loin mais à nos petits soins par mail. Dès qu'il y a un petit problème ou un renseignement ils répondent tout de suite ou téléphonent. La femme de ménage est venue à moitié du séjour pour faire un petit ménage. Une location à recommander.

Just the place to be!
From the moment we asked the 1 question about the house and until the last refund after leaving, Sergio has been a thoughtful and really great host. He has made our stay impeccable! Even more we had some wine waiting for us! That being said, the house is in a great place somewhere in the hills with amazing view and Seaview. The photos don't do justice to the location ;-) the house has anything you may need, Sergio and Sonia have thought of everything. You can enjoy by the pool, or in the garden on the Hamac or at the barbecue. Everything worked! We recommend the stay.
