Lovely property and very relaxing with beautiful views and friendly staff.
Quiet pool, perfect for a relaxing afternoon. And comes with a pool bar, too!

Gorgeous and exceptional
This is an amazing place to stay. What a find. Only 12 rooms so no where is over busy. Extremely relaxing. Pool area gorgeous and the food was exceptional. The staff are lovely and local and you can tell - a real United team.

A little piece of heaven in the Portuguese country
This hotel should have a minimum of 4 stars. Staff were incredibly friendly, food was delicious and the hotel/room were beautifully presented. Will definitely go back.

The Quinta was quite honestly the coolest and most unique place that I have ever stayed on vacation. My family is already planning their return trip and will be staying exclusively at this quinta. Great concept, eco-friendly and waste free brunch, exceptionally friendly staff. I could go on!

Nice - but had a bad experience
This is a lovely setting and would have been a wonderful experience had our room not had a very strong odor (kind of musty). We made a request to move as soon as we got in the room, but they were fully booked and could not accommodate the change. We were supposed to stay two nights and cancelled the second night and stayed somewhere else. Our booking was non-refundable/changeable, but the owner worked with us and Hotels.com and we were able to get the second night charge removed. Would definitely come back and stay in a different room.

Un petit coin de paradis. Hôtel très propre, calme ,cadre agréable et du personnel d'une gentillesse et d'un dévouement rare. Petits déjeuners plus que copieux, avec des produits frais et locaux. Quant à la restauration, elle est à l'image du reste , de la qualité et du choix. Merci pour cet agréable séjour. À recommander sans modération

Hôtel simple à la campagne. Prix trop élevé pour ce type de prestation au Portugal. Beaucoup de mouches pendant le dîner à l’extérieur. Service très sympathique. Nourriture standard. Cela n’est pas une destination.

La struttura è immersa nella campagna poco distante da una delle più belle spiagge dell'Algarve in un ambiente ameno e silenzioso. Le camere sono molto meglio delle foto, risistemate di recente. Colazione ottima e abbondante. Personale molto gentile. Soggiorno piacevolissimo.

Amazing farmhouse close to Praia do Falesia
My girlfriend and I stayed at this magnificient quinta (farmhouse). It is an old building that has been restored with taste. Swimming pool in the Algarve heat was a big plus. 5 mins drive to beach do Falesia. Breakfast was amazing. Only negative point was the speed of service during lunch and dinner.

Very nice and beautiful Hotel, close to the Beach
Very nice and beautiful Hotel, close to the Beach and to Albufeira. We have been the first time at Quinta do Mel. We loved the stay there so much!!! Nice and very friendly Owners. The Family is so charming. The room we had was perfect for us three (2 Adults, 1 Child). The Breakfast we love it, because it is not Buffet-Style. All so fresh made and every day the Breakfast-Stuff was changing. Excellent! Also the Menu-Card is perfect! The Dinner we had was so delicious!!!! The home-made Ice Tea was very refreshing and to tasteful.

O melhor café -da- manhã de Portugal!
O senhor que nos atendeu é um querido!!!! Extremamente prestativo, simpático, nos deixou super a vontade (tanto ele quanto a filha pequena fofa).... e que pequeno almoço !!! Só aquele pequeno almoço já vale a visita!

Kleinschalig hotel
Het is fijn dat het hotel kleinschalig is omdat je daardoor een persoonlijke benadering krijgt. Het ontbijt is super geregeld en je kunt alles vragen wat je wilt. Het personeel is ook erg vriendelijk. De kamers zijn niet bijzonder en het is erg jammer dat er geen balkon of een deur naar buiten is die je open kunt zetten. Wij zaten in een kamer die erg gehorig was, als de buren aan het douchen waren of naar het toilet gingen dan maakte dit erg veel lawaai. De tapas die je kunt krijgen als avondeten zijn lekker maar niet echt bijzonder. Wat wel heel leuk was is dat ze op donderdag een Fado avond hebben dat is een aanrader om naar toe te gaan. En er lopen in de buurt een aantal honden los rond die in de nacht soms flink blaffen. Als je je raam dichtdoet heb je daar geen last meer van maar ja, beetje frissen lucht............... Het is ongeveer 20 minuten lopen naar het strand van Falesia en dat is een erg mooi strand.

We hebben 1 nacht hier geslapen. Het personeel was super super aardig, behulpzaam en kenden onze namen dan ook gauw. Dit is een hotel waar je heerlijk eigen gekeweekt en gemaakt eten krijgt wat super lekker is! In een woord een geweldig verblijf!
