Serene and secluded
My husband was interested in a place near all the best golf and he found it. I was looking for a peaceful villa away from the tourists but central enough for trips to the beaches and towns nearby for daily excursions - while also finding a place from which I could paint. We both found what we were looking for. Walks to fountains, lunches at the beach, climbs along steep steps, incredible hidden gems of restaurants off the beaten track. The villa itself was beautiful. We grilled lamb chops we bought from the local Mercado for Easter dinner, fresh fennel and delicious fresh bread and desserts! We loved the villa! If we return to the Algarve, we would definitely stay there!

Relaxation in the Algarve
We fully enjoyed our time in Portugal, and it was made all the much better by this wonderful villa. Amenities were top-notch and it’s close to everywhere. You need a car and having a car will give you access to the entire Algarve region. The pool is fantastic although we went a little early in the season, and it was too cold to swim in(at least for us). Don’t miss this Saturday market in Loulé.

Beautiful villa
Nice peaceful location but not far from beaches, golf courses, shops and restaurants. Pool was lovely as well. I'm sure we'll be back!

Excellent Villa in a lovely spot
Excellent quiet location and exactly what we wanted for a family of 4. Would highly recommend this place to anyone. The pool area is amazing on a sunny day.

Fab villa within easy reach of all you need
We had a fantastic time, really nice villa in a great location for visiting Villamoura and Albufeira. We planned to go out and about more but couldn’t drag ourselves away from the pool for too long! We had a great holiday, would definitely recommend and would love to return at some point.

Great Villa
Very spacious and well equipped and comfortable villa. 2nd Stay (and hopefully not the last!)
This was our 2nd time staying in Eleanor’s property and the experience was as good as the first. It has everything you need for self-catering with a large modern kitchen, BBQ, comfortable beds but what makes it is the pool area which is just prefect and much bigger than would be found at larger properties. Unlike our first stay we headed out a couple of nights to Villamoura and Albefeuria and ubers were easily accessed to and from the property and inexpensive. I can’t imagine it will be our last stay!

Take me back!
An amazing property, well placed for loads of trips out. We didn't hire a car so used Uber every day and is was really cost effective. The property is perfect but the icing on the cake is the outdoor area and pool. The weather was fab, if a little hot so the pool was most welcome. We loved watching the red rump swallows having their daily dip in the pool. We only wish we'd booked to stay longer but we will be back.

Fabulous private location
We loved our stay. Bill was very responsive to any questions we had. The location is nice and private but still close to everything you need. Comfortable and relaxing, we loved the pool and the swallows that come by for a dip. I agree with another review that it may be a bit hard to find, we ended up adding the local place called Licks into the GPS and then following Eleanor's detailed directions from there made it very easy.

Great base for exploring the Algarve
We had a lovely stay at this house - it had everything we needed and was located in a good spot to set off on explorations. Since we came in off season (November) we didn't use the pool but it was very pleasant to enjoy the deck. Its in a very quiet and secluded spot which would probably be a bonus in high season when things must be crowded. For us it was nice for the peace and quiet. Enjoyed Barbecuing fresh fish and veggies on the grill after returning from our adventures. Hosts were very attentive. Amenities all worked just fine.

Wonderful stay at this beautiful villa
We have just returned from 10 days at this fantastic villa. It was spacious and really well equipped with everything you need for a brilliant family holiday. The outside area was absolutely perfect: very pretty with plenty of seating options so you can be in sun or shade depending on your preference all day long. The pool was a great size and really was the highlight of our trip (a little chilly for our daughter on windy days so bringing wetsuits for kids might be a good idea). The built-in outdoor BBQ was great and we had many lovely dinners sitting on the terrace. There are so many beaches, attractions, resorts and restaurants just a short drive away. We can't wait to go back!

Picture Postcard Perfect
We have just recently returned from this wonderful villa and if anything our expectations were surpassed based on previous reviews and pictures (and we had high expectations!). It had everything we required and more, the inside was spotless and grounds excellently maintained. The large pool was the highlight with lots of areas to relax in and out of the sun. It was totally private but close to local amenities albeit other than grocery runs we didn’t leave it! Communication with the owner was great throughout. Overall I couldn’t recommend this Villa highly enough and can’t wait to return in the future.

Wonderful villa
The villa was spotless and had everything we could possibly need. It was easy to find from the directions given and was a very secure property. The pool and all the outside areas were really lovely and the kitchen had obviously been recently updated. We will certainly come again.

Excellent villa in the perfect location
The house was perfect. Plenty space indoors, comfortable beds, good wi-fi, TV (if you want TV) and good air-conditioning throughout. Kitchen has all you need, bath and shower both fine. But really, the best part of this property is the outdoor area. Good sized pool, very clean, plenty seating options and good bbq. The pool area gets the sun from 8am to 9pm and there's a shaded sitting area if preferred. The location is exactly what we want. Off the road in a quiet area, surrounded by fields and trees. You need a car to get to shops, restaurants and the beach but the drive is only about 10 minutes. Thoroughly recommend this property

We had a lovely stay, the kitchen is a bit dated..However is clean and has everything you could possibly need....but we didn’t come on holiday to stand in a kitchen. The outside Space is perfect , great bbq cooking area. Plenty of space for loungers and perfect pool. Bill the property manager is excellent. We will come again.

It was a great experience. The house was very clean, the pool has impeccable maintenance and the check in and check out were totally adjusted to Covid-safe procedures. The location is very quiet but at a 15-20 minutes car Distance to beaches, supermarkets, nice restaurants, etc. We totally recommend it.

Excellent villa
The villa was excellent and we found that it had everything to make us all feel comfortable, it really felt like a home from home. The beds were so comfortable. The pool was a real winner for all of us and we spent most days relaxing and playing in or around it. The gazebo gave you somewhere to relax when you just wanted a bit of shade. The outdoor BBQ area was used most evenings and we had some lovely meals from it. The villa is in a nice quiet location but supermarkets are 10 minutes away and you can reach the local beaches within 15 minutes. The property manager Bill was only ever a phone call away and popped in a couple of times to check that everything was going well. Communication with the owner was great and always very prompt. We all really enjoyed our stay and felt so relaxed, we would love to go back. If you are reading this just go ahead and book it you wont regret it.

The villa was ideal, it had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. It is in a nice quiet location with easy access to local resorts (15 mins) and supermarkets (9mins)-by car . The kids loved the pool and the gazebo shade area was fantastic! Communication was always prompt. Bill the property manager was very helpful and called several times to check that everything was going ok, we could also contact him if we had any issues. We loved it so much that we have already booked to return!

Peaceful Location
We have stayed at many villas over the years and this was one of the most peaceful that we have rented. Although villa is quite isolated it is very secure with lockable gates and burglar alarm. The outside of the property is it’s selling point (although shame pool not covered to retain heat nor heated). Pool was rather chilly for us probably due to time of year and prevailing winds. There are numerous seating areas in or out of the sun and a lovely bbq. Everything you need is provided in the kitchen. The Wi-fi is excellent and the large flat screen TV has nearly every channel you could think of. The beds were comfortable and plenty of hot water and powerful shower. Pool towels were provided which is always a plus. The local managers Bill and Sharon were quick to sort out any issues that arose. Communication with the owner was efficient at all times.

Perfect villa in a really good location. Just a 15/20 minute drive in any direction to beaches or new towns. The villa really was a home from home, easy to find on our first day and very secure (not thah security was an issue) Plenty of chill out areas and the loungers by the pool were great. We have stayed here before but this time we brought our granddaughter for her first holiday abroad. The villa is placed in the perfect site for visiting many of the local spots and towns and not too far away from places like Monchique. We all found the beds really comfortable and the pool, though cold at this time of year, is a great asset. The only slight criticism we had was with the crockery and cooking utensils which are looking somewhat jaded. However, this did not affect our enjoyment of staying in the villa.

Very nice property in a quiet rural setting. Very clean and well appointed.
Property was well situated. It is in a rural setting but close to beaches and historical sites and towns. Just outside of Villamoura with all kinds of activities including golf and nightlife.We enjoyed our stay very much.

Last minute break
Booked last minute. Flight arrived early morning but as the villa had been unoccupied the previous night we were kindly allowed to go straight in. Villa is in a peaceful countryside location yet close enough to beaches, shops etc. At first we were disappointed there was no dvd player as we had taken dvds to watch that we hadn't found time to watch at home... but there are 100s of films available on the TV. We visit Portugal every couple of years and would consider staying here again next time.

Lovely rural retreat yet close to Villamoura

Absolutely perfect for families.
We booked this villa as we have two very young children and knew we would not be packing up to head to the beach everyday. So this villa with a private pool seemed ideal. We were absolutely delighted with the villa and also those who were on hand to help us - Sharon, Bill and Daniel. Before we arrived, Eleanor had very kindly arranged beds and bouncers for the baby, which above and beyond what is expected. Wonderful villa
We stayed here for two weeks in August 2018. The villa,pool and gardens are just fabulous. The villa is equipped with everything you need and much more and really feels like a home from home. Bill and Sharron were only 5 minutes away if we needed help with anything and we're very helpful which was much appreciated. The villas owner Eleanor was also a pleasure to deal with at all times. Excellent villa in a quiet part of the Algarve but within close distance to all amenities.
If you want a peaceful holiday in a lovely villa this would be for you.The villa has everything needed for a relaxing stay,a shaded pergola with seating,BBQ we used every day, clean pool maintained every week, pool towels, sun lounges,and plenty of outside seating.gated drive,house alarm and house safe,a very secure villa. Beaches and shopping all within 10-20mins drive. The villa manages Sharon and Bill go out of there way to accommodate you,I needed to ring them regarding towels, no problem, they were delivered by Bill within the hour, the washing machine broke down,a brand new one arrived within two days, amazing work by Sharon, and a big thank you to Eleanor the villa owner. I have stayed in various villas around the Algarve, I would recommend this villa 10*/10*. Many thanks for a lovely holiday, Austin & family.

Amazing villa in perfect location
Me and my girlfriend stayed here for 6 nights and found the villa to be absolutely perfect! Only a 20 minute drive from the airport and in such a perfect private location. The villa itself is extremely well maintained and the pool is perfect for cooling down out of the sun! We used the outside bbq virtually every day! Will find it hard visiting Portugal and staying anywhere else, will definitely be returning! Thank you!

Lovely Villa & Pool
Well appointed in a quiet setting but centrally located, this truly is deserving of the top rating! Full Sky package on large screen TV much appreciated by this sports fan. Villa is short drive from station and trips to Lagos & Faro were highlights of our stay. Private pool well maintained and in the hot weather we enjoyed was hard to resist - also BBQ was much used!

Clean comfortable villa
A lovely villa for 2 to 4 people,a wonderful pool and gazebo on the patio made being outside a pleasure.The double bed was truly comfortable and UK TV also.A great weeks stay.
