The property regularly attracts local wildlife, including red deer and red squirrels. The expansive living room, with its large picture window overlooking the lake, is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the scenery.(Note: In this case, the translation is identical because the text is already in a form that would be used in both British and American English.)Located a short walk from the charming village of Grasmere, guests can explore excellent restaurants, cafes, and bars. For nature enthusiasts, numerous hiking trails start right from the doorstep, including the picturesque Grasmere and Rydal Water circuit.The first floor of Unerig offers various amenities for your convenience and enjoyment. On the first floor, you'll find a game room featuring a ping pong table. The first of four bedrooms is located on the first floor and includes twin beds, a cable TV, and an attached bathroom with sink. Additionally, there is a first floor restroom for convenience.Head upstairs, where you'll find a spacious living/dining room that features a 40" Freeview Smart TV, Blu-ray player, and a cozy wood burner. The large picture window in this room provides a mesmerizing view of the lake. The modern kitchen is equipped with a breakfast bar, electric stove, microwave, refrigerator, freezer, and dishwasher. A second dining room provides an additional seating area with panoramic views, perfect for family gatherings.The sleeping arrangements on this floor include Bedroom 2, which has a beautiful four-poster queen bed, Bedroom 3 with a comfortable king bed, and Bedroom 4 with twin beds. There is also a bathroom with a bathtub and shower over it, a heated towel rack, and a toilet. Additionally, a separate shower room with a shower stall and toilet completes the accommodation.The house boasts underfloor oil central heating, electricity, bed linens, towels, and Wi-Fi, all included in your stay. Initial logs for the wood stove are provided, with additional logs available at cost. For families with young children, a crib, high chair, baby monitor, and baby gate are available upon request.Outside, enjoy a large grassy yard with patio and outdoor furniture, perfect for outdoor dining and relaxation. There is also a bike storage area for safe storage of bicycles and private parking space for up to 4 cars. For water enthusiasts, the property offers exclusive lake access, allowing you to launch kayaks or paddleboards directly onto the lake. This fantastic property welcomes a total of 4 dogs, which owners are kindly asked to keep off the couches and out of the bedrooms (first two stay for free, an additional $25 per dog is charged after that).There is a crib and high chair available during your stay, but please let us know at the time of booking if you require one.Please note: The property has a steep driveway and sloping yards to the rear.
