"Beautiful hotel with a stunning restaurant and bar. The spa amenities (steam room, sauna & hot tub) were a nice perk after a long day of travel! Room was clean with comfy beds. I didn’t have breakfast, but ate dinner at the hotel and it was excellent. Only caveat is that it’s a bit far from the downtown / main tourist areas, but the area was clean & safe."

"Excellent location for metro transport to and from airport. 2.5 miles +/- to main sites to see, so using transit is very helpful. Expedia listed our twin bed room as having a private bathroom. This is NOT accurate. The bathroom is shared with the room across the hall. So, at one point, I had to utilize the bathroom one floor down that is shared with the bunk rooms. Very meager accommodations, and extremely small quarters, but the bed was comfortable for sleep, and we don’t spend much time in a room when on vacation. We’re there to explore the city. Host was SUPER accommodating when we had a late flight that absolutely screwed us related to the check-in time window. Side note: DO NOT fly RyanAir!!! You’ve been warned. DON’T DO IT!! It will NOT end up being a bargain with the extra fees, and even the Uber driver said there are CONSTANTLY problems with that airline. Okay, so pretty small and very meager and a bit drabby accommodations, but solid in terms of cost and location - metro and transit are GREAT, and host was a life saver. Only there for two nights. Carry on bags slid under the beds, thank goodness. That was a big deal considering how tiny that attic room is!"

"The hotel is central to a lot of really great Portuguese restaurants and is even across the street from an underground mall. The cafe attached served traditional breakfast and was clean and the food was fresh. The staff was helpful and the property was well maintained. My only complaint is that once the tram started running the building would shake."

"From the time we arrived until we left the staff could not have been any more helpful or accommodating. The rooms were always clean and also quiet for a city hotel. The location is great, easy to get to the airport and not far from the old town and nearby access to public transport options. Pool/spa area is quite small and gets busy but facilities good. If you want to stay in a traditional hotel this might not be for you! It is ultra modern and even futuristic but we loved it."
