Oros Luxury Beach Resort

8/10 Good

"We had a deluxe villa with own pool. It was just a shame due to staying later in the season, we did not get the sun on our loungers and the pool was very cold. (Still tried it though!!) Suite was lovely, Breakfast was good, lots of choice. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Resort is close to main road, which was a bit annoying if sitting out. Overall though, could not fault the resort. However, walked along the nearest beach, and was very disappointed with the amount of rubbish and plastic around. Shame our tourist tax isn't helping with that!!"

"This is a lovely 3 bedroom villa with distant views of the northern coastline. The quality of the finishing is excellent and has large pool (although the weather wasn’t great during our stay so it wasn’t used). The nearest village is a 10 minute drive where there are 2 tavernas and a store/shop for basic provisions. The owner responded swiftly to all messages and hosted us for lunch at his taverna which is located at the local waterfalls. A car is definitely required as no amenities are within walking distance. Northern beaches are about 45 minutes drive from the villa and the southern beaches are about an hour driving time away. The local roads are narrow and the climb to and from the villa is steep. This is a perfect place for those who like to be ‘away from it all’ and are happy to drive for days out."

"A lovely quirky house in a beautiful and historic mountain village. Easy to travel to north and south of Rethimno municipality of Crete.I would say you need to be fairly fit as there are 47 steep narrow concrete steps down to the middle floor of the house, and more to the garden door entrance.Narrow wooden open stairs inside and bed on the floor above the bathroom.Perfect for 2 adults.Well equipped kitchen but we ate in the Ancient Lappa Taverna each night which is excellent for and service"

"Beautiful stone villa with glorious uninterrupted views of the sea and mountains. We were 6 adults and there was plenty of room and a well stocked kitchen. Lovely, clean infinity pool, plenty of sun loungers, towels etc and super spacious outdoor table and shady seating areas. Andreas, the host had left a home baked cake for our arrival, a wonderful freshly baked fig tart delivered during the stay and some lovely sprigs of fresh rosemary to take home - what a very nice touch !"

"Wir sind eine schwäbische Theatergruppe und waren mit 17 Personen in der Villa Zeus. Es war der absolute Hammer. Wir sind heute noch komplett geflasht.Ausstattung und Lage sind absolut perfekt. Wir haben super gerne die "Taverne" im Außenbereich genutzt. Es gibt dort einen großen Kühlschrank und einen Grill, perfekt für alle Bedürfnisse.Der weitläufige Garten mit Pool waren ein Paradies. Von uns gibt es 12 von 10 Punkten!!!!Maria war der Wahnsinn, wir konnten uns in allem voll auf sie verlassen. Sie war im ständigen Kontakt mit uns und hat uns mit dem Lebensmittel Service und dem gebuchten Grillabend super geholfen. Es hat alles perfekt geklappt!!!Für uns ist es eine unvergessliche absolute fantastische Woche gewesen.DANKE MARIA...drei Herzen "
