"Bakewell is amazing and the property location is superb. However the property was clean inside, although there was paint hanging off walls and the windows were incredibly dirty. The outside was shocking, the garden was a mess and totally overgrown. The oven didn’t work which was so frustrating! All very disappointing, but the local area is stunning and made it okay. "

"This cottage makes the most of its small space. It is comfortable, cosy, pretty and has everything for a short or longer stay. It is perfectly located for Baslow and all that it has to offer, including just a short stroll from the wonderful village shop. I enjoyed my stay very much but, in my opinion, it is overpriced. Also, be aware that the neighbour has a routine of early to bed, early to rise (5.30 am.) Not particularly conducive to a holiday!"

"Fabulous holiday home. Warm , clean and very well equipped.Very close to the town for wandering to the shops, pubs etc. & opposite a lovely park and some great dog walks (we headed for the Monsal Trail)Super comfy beds and lovely en-suite bathrooms in every bedroom.. always a big plus when there are lots in the group. Great cooking facilities and equipment, and a lovely great big dining table .Perfect for eleven of us for a family meet up Great host who kept us well informed with check in...
