"My stay was a nightmare! I'm yet to lodge my complaint with Hotels.com about my experience. I booked an ensuite single room. This was confirmed and worked out to £75.00 per night. To my shock upon my checking in. I was accommodated in a communial room packed with 3 layered bunk-beds! And when I furiously refuted this arrangement, I was told that is what was booked by Hotels.com. There's no privacy what so ever! the room is mixed gender. "Fantastic location walkable to all the major sites. Staff is amazing as is everybody in Scotland. Room had a king size bed and fantastic bedding, but the room was a bit small. We stayed on the ninth floor one below the top and could hear when people flushed the toilet above us with the water running through the pipes. So I would request a room on the top floor. Eat their restaurant, and that two was phenomenal and reasonably priced."
