"Staff very friendly & helpful. Water in the taps was lukewarm not cold and the food in the bar was excellent but was charged full menu price instead of the early bird offer.

7 of us stayed. Hotel was really busy so restaurant was booked up but the barman kept a table for us. Bar food was lovely, fresh and reasonable. Couches in the foyer are so comfy we curled up in them for the evening. Music in the bar by a guy playing guitar wasn't too loud so it was great.
Would definitely stay again.

I just love this Hotel.I love its location opposite the beautiful bay.Seriously a great place to unwind and get away from the hustle and bustle of surbubian life.Perfect for those evening walks with my husband.After 40 years I feel like this is out time to pack a bag and take a trip.Due to health reasons we dont go abroad too often.So the Hodson Bay meets all our needs.

Stayed here as we were attending a friends 40th birthday party being held downstairs.had requested a triple room as I was travelling with my two daughters,the room was just gorgoeus and very very spacious.beds were extremly comfy too.bbreakfast the next morning was lovely and if I was to be very "picky" id say "pancakes would hav been a nice addition to the breakfast menu".overall I would not hesitate to stay here again or reccomend it .

My room, as usual was excellent. Being a regular visitor of several times a year, I’ve always found my ‘home from home’ at Doolys hotel. The staff couldn’t be nicer, friendlier or more attentive. They take excellent care of me each time I’m there. From arrival, receptionist is Niamh, Ciara or Marisa, to the bar, restaurant and night porter Gerry. Honestly, every single one of them treat me like I’ve known them all my life. I couldn’t rate them any better. See you all in 6 wks. Marguerite
