"The cottage was very clean & had everything you needed, even a dishwasher! The surroundings are so beautiful there. Lovely having the swimming pool as well. So relaxing. Our dogs loved it too. Very reasonably prices too. Bottle of red wine on arrival was very sweet too. Thanks from the Gauld family"

"Absolutely gob-smacked when we arrived at the Barnstaple Hotel, it was fantastic and totally unexpected. Staff were lovely, ambience great and it was just so welcoming. It was a fairly last minute booking, a one night stay and I hadn't really taken much notice of reviews etc. Great regret that I hadn't packed my swim-wear as the pools looked so enticing. Our room was so comfortable, such a shame that we couldn't spend longer there. Couldn't fault the hotel at all and we will definitely make a point of returning to Barnstaple and spending a few days at the Barnstaple Hotel, it was a holiday in itself."
