Great getaway from the city
The ranch is everything advertised: quiet (with the occasional comment from Cinnamon or Ginger, the goats), beautiful, and easy to find. My only regrets are that it wasn't as warm as I hoped, which is not Nick & Laura's fault, and that I couldn't stay longer.

5/5 Excellent

fun and relaxation on the ranch
Staying at this property was such fun. The hosts were friendly, accessible, and cared for their guests' comforts. The animals (goats, horses, and dogs) were close at hand, but if a guest was more comfortable observing, than interacting, that was ok too. Comfortable quarters close to Berea

Unique and excellent stay
My husband and I stayed here two nights and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The owners (Nick and Laura) are truly wonderful people, and we enjoyed visiting with them very much. The animals are such a joy to observe from our window and from the stables. We interacted with (fed carrots to) the horses (Beans, Bubba B, and Lady DeVille), goats (Cinnamon and Ginger), and cat (Amazon). The location is close enough to 75 to be super convenient, but it’s not so close that you hear the traffic noise. We would absolutely stay here again! Thank you so much for your hospitality. You’ve got something very special at Nicura Ranch!♥️

3/5 Okay

Weekend Stay
The hosts were very kind and welcoming and the mountains surrounding the property are beautiful. Although we expected a nicer suite based on the pictures and the price. There were cobwebs in many places, we had to kill at least 15 flies, the hairdryer was broken (although replaced within about an hour), and the propane fire pit wouldn’t stay lit. There was also a lot of noise that was not being caused by the animals. It seemed like someone was working in the barn and walking upstairs in the loft in the middle of the night for several hours. We understand it’s a space in a barn which can come with noise and flies, but we feel that both could be kept under control by working at normal hours and sealing the doors better so flies cannot enter as easily. This is really a 3 star rental being marketed and charged for as a 5 star. The price should not be over $80-$90 a night for this space.
