Had a wonderful experience staying at Ginevra Rooms. The room was modern, new and clean. It has a fabulous balcony with a great, spacious view. Leila the owner was super helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend others to stay!

Loved our stay!
We really enjoyed our stay at the Ginevra Rooms. We had the Patek suite and it was big and comfortable. The suite is clean and modern. The female staff, whose name I do not remember was exceptionally accommodating, setting up the mini fridge to stay on 24 hours a day, responding to us on her day off, etc. We loved the location with its many good restaurants, a gelato shop around the corner, easy access to the old town, a cute park across the street and a large shopping area a 10 minute walk away. We would stay here again without question.

A lovely place to stay in Bergamo
This is a lovely place to stay and I would highly recommend it for a number of reasons: it has a great location within walking distance of main shopping streets in the new town and of the funicular, which takes you to the old city readily. On the door step are a small bar, a restaurant and a four-star hotel. In addition, access to the accommodation is easy and carefully explained. This is not a hotel so does not have a bar etc but the rooms are lovely. We stayed in a large room with a sitting area, balcony and lots of amenities including a coffee machine and two TVs! The manager, Leila, was very helpful and the room was serviced daily to a very high standard with still and sparking water provided daily. The air conditioning is super. The bus stop for the airport is close by, as well as a share-rent stop for bicycles and e-scooters. We had no complaints at all - it is a lovely place to stay and we would consider stating there again in the future.

Highly recommend.
I can't fault my stay at Ginevra Rooms. I thought the limited reception hours could have been an issue but a phone number was provided for any queries and the staff were very helpful and obliging. Clear instructions were sent for access to the building for outside of reception hours and this was clear and without any issues. The Patek room was very spacious, comfortable and clean. Highly recommend.

Superb place for Bergamo
Great place to explore Bergamo, perfectly situated for low and high towns. Room is really top draw, lovely fittings and importantly a great bed! Only downside is the noise from the street, they do provide earplugs to remedy this so its not a big issue.

We had one night at the Ginevra rooms recently and would definitely book again. The location and the accommodation are excellent, extremely clean, comfortable and central. Great location for the funicular to Bergamo Alta. Leila, is super efficient, friendly and helpful. Arrival information worked perfectly and we were also able to leave our luggage after we checked out the next morning which was so helpful as we had an evening flight. We would definitely stay with Leila in the Ginevra Rooms again next time we are in Bergamo.

Dear Sir, I wonder if you really came to our structure because, unlike what you wrote, our rooms are all large and this, with many others, is one of our distinctive qualities recognized by all our guests. Evidently you thought to go into an apartment, that IS NOT Ginevra Rooms, as very well explained in the description On the canal where (maybe) you booked. Anyway thank you for your review!!

Best tub ever
The location was perfect for visiting old town as well as modern shoppimg. The room was beautiful and super clean. Best was the balcony watching the sunsets.

An Absolutely Delightful Find In A Wonderful City.
Having made a last minute decision to stay in Bergamo for a couple of days prior to returning back to the UK. We wanted to stay in the centre rather than at the Airport we were welcomed at the hotel by the owner Leila who had our room ready early. The place is very welcoming and, although small by normal hotel standards the focus of attention to a traveller' needs is First Class. We stayed in the Patek Suite which, is the largest of the room' available and has a relaxing lounge area. The other rooms are equally charming and we would be happy to stay in those as well.The accommodation is extremely clean and with the owner on site it is evident that she has a real sense of pride in her business. We would not hesitate to stay here again as we use Bergamo as a destination several times a year.

Beautiful Bergamo
A great location in walking distance to the funicular up to the citta alta as well as historical center. The room was comfortable and clean and we appreciated the small balcony with view. Leila was a complete pleasure to deal with and assisted us with all our queries.

Lovely stay - convenient - friendly
We really enjoyed our stay.Checked in after hours but everything went according to plan. What a great idea- checking in by a phone call - brilliant. The area was just right - near to the funicular and not far from the bus/train station. The apartment was spacious, very modern and stylish. Great balcony overlooking the park. Great room but no continuous hot water
Ginevra rooms is very well located, close to the old town funicular and the lower town bars and restaurants. The room we stayed in was beautifully decorated and felt very luxurious, with a nice terrace overlooking the square outside. However, what spoilt our stay was that the room has only a small boiler and the hot water ran out very quickly. We just about managed to have two quick showers, but it was sadly impossible to get enough hot water to fill the bathtub (despite two attempts on successive evenings). The manager is aware of this and has posted a notice in the room around the boiler needing 15 mins to heat up again, but in reality we were still waiting for hot water up to an hour later. It's a shame, because everything else in the room is great. The manager assured us that no-one else had experienced this problem, so maybe we were unlucky. However, I think given the way the room is decorated and promoted as luxury, not having continuous hot water is a shame and definitely impacted our enjoyment of the room.

Dear Anonymous Matthew, I am very sorry for what happened as I said the next morning your first night because if I well remember you wake me up in the heart of the night threatening to leave the room. The problem of hot water was due to use full 80 liters of boiler which is equivalent not to 1/4 bath (which would be really huge to contain a total of 320 liters) but almost 2/3. And with regard to the shower, calculating that in a shower of normal time consuming about 25/30 liters, this is equivalent to the three consecutive showers. It is clear that then becomes all related: I mean one can stay under the shower also 20 minutes but in this case it is not enough even a boiler 200 liters. In any case since we put sign with an indication of wait for reloading the boiler, it is true, I confirm, never nobody complained and if what you did feel misplaced i'm sorry. On the other hand the speech was pulled out again from you to check out when you didn’t want to pay the bottle of champagne who kindly we did find in the room, as agreed first with relative price. We (2 adults and 1 child ) stayed a week in Ginevra Rooms. We found the hotel cosy and neat and modern. The friendly landlady gave us good advice about Bergamo and surroundings. So we had adventure with our grandson in playgrounds and historic Città Alta and San Vigilia. The places were in a walking distance, or we could use "funicolare". And Milan was within an hour's train ride. The week was very satisfactory.
