"This is a stunning "Georgian" property in a glorious location with excellent parking facilities. We were met by owner Robert, who showed us to our room and treated us to a slice of home made cake and a hot drink. The room was spacious, very comfortable, quiet, spotlessly clean and had a gorgeous ensuite bathroom. Tea making facilities were provided and everything had been thought of by our wonderful host. Breakfast was delicious and generous and the home made scones were yummy. There are no pubs or restaurants within easy walking distance, but Robert is happy to make recommendations if you wish to drive or take a taxi. All in all we had a lovely stay and would not hesitate to highly recommend this property."

"Super choice of hotel as it is near the station, so it easy to get to & from. It is also located a bit away from the main shopping area, so quieter than if nearer the town. The staff too were very friendly & helpful."

"Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Comfy bed, spacious room, great shower. Food choice was good. Downside the amount of curry my wife had could of been more plentiful. My teriyaki fish needed more seasoning, I don't usually add salt or pepper to meals but in this case had to. Saying that my 2 friends steak and linguine was apparently lovely. The full English was exceptionally good and plentiful "
