She gave us a lot of information about dining options in the area and information about taking the local train (we were taking a train to London the next day). "The service and the facilities of the room are outstanding comfortable bed. The breakfast was amazing freshly cooked by heather who also takes your order. Good choice of cereal, fresh fruit yoghurt and toast. Then to follow a full cooked breakfast "

"The property was lovely with views over the countryside. Room was clean and quiet.The breakfast was good with plenty of variety. Was looked after very well by the host. The reason people stay there is to visit the magnificent Bamburgh Castle overlooking the North Sea. Altogether well worth a stay"

"The room was fantastic with a bay window high up overlooking the street. It was well furnished with a very comfortable bed and we had a great nights sleep. The only downside was the bathroom which was 'compact' (not really a problem) but the shower did not work well in that that it never got beyond just above cold and had a miserable trickle of water. We spoke to staff before leaving and they were appalled that this had happened and were going to get it looked at. Overall, very happy to stay there again."
