"The room was amazing. The view was absolutely stunning. Some of the stairs were rather hard to negotiate. There was an elevator for most of it but on arriving, we had to pull our luggage up a hill. Otherwise we had an amazing day. The pub was rather expensive and there was limited seating while the dining room had amazing seats. The environment in the pub was poor."

So many restaurants, within just a few minutes. Easy access to many footpaths. Easily the most charming and wonderful vacation we’ve ever taken. We plan to bring our children back with us in the future."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Old Bank Flat. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, with two bedrooms, both with comfortable double beds. The living area was also comfortable and the kitchen was fantastic, with everything you could possibly need. The bathroom was lovely, although the bath may be a little awkward to get in and out of if you are shorter. The location is excellent — right in the centre of Bourton-on-the-Water, with plenty of good pubs, cafés, restaurants and shops nearby. Parking was good too, with plenty of spaces in the nearby paid-for car park. There is lots to see and do within walking distance. The Model Village is directly across the road and well worth visiting, with Birdland and the Cotswold Motoring Museum also close by. Stow-on-the-Wold, with its large Tesco, is only a short drive away if you want to stock up and cook yourself. The only minor downside is that, being so central, you can hear the shop downstairs setting up from around 7am. This wasn't a major issue for us, but light sleepers may want to bear it in mind. Communication with the owners was excellent throughout, both by phone and email. Overall, a lovely, well-equipped apartment in a fantastic location. We'd happily stay again."

"Great, beautiful cottage in the heart of Bourton on the Water. Walkability was amazing. We even had a minor issue where my husband accidentally locked is out and communication was very quick and we resolved the issue within 15 minutes. Highly recommend!"

"This home is in a fantastic location, within easy walking distance of the village center, which is about a 2 minute walk. The pictures really don’t do this lovely home justice—it’s much larger than it appears and has such a cozy, welcoming feel. The provided parking space was a real bonus as the village can get busy and parking can get tricky. While we didn't cook anything while there, we did note that there was ample cooking equipment for those that choose to cook.All of the beds were very comfortable, and most of the windows open, which was especially nice on warmer days. Fans are also provided in each bedroom, which was a thoughtful touch.The sunroom is lovely, and the garden is beautiful and a wonderful place to relax. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend this home and the host, who was an excellent communicator.And don’t miss Smith’s for a burger—it was fantastic!"
