"The best location possible to visit the Cotswolds- and stay right on the water! It was truly magical to look out our window at the river. We stayed 2 nights and walked to the villages of Lower and Upper Slaughter, and Stow on the Wold right from the hotel. Loved the history of the hotel and the people- were so helpful! Breakfast at the restaurant was a treat and made logistics so easy and stress free for our visit. Was a dream just to hang out and walk along the river!"

"Lovely property just a short walk into the centre of Bourton on the water, though beware there is a very steep hill to climb when walking back. Very spacious. Lounge and open plan kitchen could do with a bit of an update. Fabulous views across the country side and so many different species of birds to view from the very large window in the lounge. Owners very kindly left binoculars and a bird book. Extremely quiet setting. Stayed Friday to Monday and it was a really lovely break. "

Top The Model Village Hotel Reviews

Broadlands Hotel - Adults Only

10/10 Excellent

"We had a two night stay after work on a Friday so didn't arrive until about 7pm. Ross met us and was very helpful and pleasant. We had a free parking space. Hotel is perfect location for sightseeing in Bourton and an easy walk to the Hawkstone brewery. Our room was clean, cosy and comfortable with a plentiful tea tray. Breakfast was good and served in the conservatory. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend to others and we will return."

The Dial House

"Incredibly central and so romantic. Guaranteed parking which was great."

Craigmoor Cottage, central & tranquil, Bourton-on-the-Water, Cotswolds

10/10 Excellent

"Such a cute house ! Very clean and straight forward check in process. Thank you so much for letting us stay here. We loved it!"

Forsythia Cottage - sleeps 3 guests in 2 bedrooms

"Perfect location in the village and very quiet."

Unique & Characterful Jacobean Cottage w/own driveway 2 Min Walk to Village!

10/10 Excellent

"My husband and I had the most magical stay for our 20th anniversary. The cottage is adorable and cozy. It is so close to the waterfront while not being right in foot traffic. So many restaurants, within just a few minutes. Easy access to many footpaths. Easily the most charming and wonderful vacation we’ve ever taken. We plan to bring our children back with us in the future."

Old Bank Flat - Beautiful 2 bedroom apartment in the Bourton On The Water

10/10 Excellent

"Property was Exactley as described. Right in the middle of the town and communication with the owner was very easy."

Old Bank Flat Beautiful Cotswold Apt

10/10 Excellent

"We really enjoyed our stay at Old Bank Flat. The apartment was very clean and comfortable, with two bedrooms, both with comfortable double beds. The living area was also comfortable and the kitchen was fantastic, with everything you could possibly need. The bathroom was lovely, although the bath may be a little awkward to get in and out of if you are shorter. The location is excellent — right in the centre of Bourton-on-the-Water, with plenty of good pubs, cafés, restaurants and shops nearby. Parking was good too, with plenty of spaces in the nearby paid-for car park. There is lots to see and do within walking distance. The Model Village is directly across the road and well worth visiting, with Birdland and the Cotswold Motoring Museum also close by. Stow-on-the-Wold, with its large Tesco, is only a short drive away if you want to stock up and cook yourself. The only minor downside is that, being so central, you can hear the shop downstairs setting up from around 7am. This wasn't a major issue for us, but light sleepers may want to bear it in mind. Communication with the owners was excellent throughout, both by phone and email. Overall, a lovely, well-equipped apartment in a fantastic location. We'd happily stay again."

Old Bank Rooms

10/10 Excellent

"Very nice room. Breakfast delivered to the room. Great location. Parking and being right on main road (noise) only downfall. We did park just down the road after 6pm and were out before the 90 minute mark."

18th century period holiday cottage in the Cotswolds with garden - Lavender Cottage, Bourton

10/10 Excellent

"Great, beautiful cottage in the heart of Bourton on the Water. Walkability was amazing. We even had a minor issue where my husband accidentally locked is out and communication was very quick and we resolved the issue within 15 minutes. Highly recommend!"
