"Could not fault the accommodation the hotel was lovely however you definitely would need a car as the bus service wasn't very regular and taxi were really expensive . Breakfast and dinner was very good however no other pub in the village ."

"We were given a warm welcome, as well as being sent helpful info before arriving. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. It was good to have milk, coffee, tea provided, as well as juice for breakfast. There were a good selection of choices for breakfast. There was easy parking outside the room. As the property is right on the A30, which is busy, it was helpful to have info on what to look out for immediately before the turning. We didn’t notice any noise from traffic at night. The shower was very good. Although we didn’t actually use them, it was helpful to have a list of suggested places to eat or order take away, together with phone numbers. We would certainly recommend this b & b."

"We stayed here for a few days as a “home base” for day trips to Dartmoor, Exeter and the Devon coast. Rob greeted us on arrival and was a charming host. The cottage was clean, spacious, and extremely comfortable – we cooked in most nights and the kitchen was up to the task. We especially enjoyed the wood-burning fireplace. Parking is a breeze (immediately outside the cottage) and Honiton is only an 8-minute drive for supplies and antique shopping! Highly recommended."

"Beautiful location if you like quiet and peaceful. If you like to shop then this maybe not for you. We took food etc with us, Tesco aldi and Lidl within driving distance. The cottage/lodge cosy and comfortable with all you need. On arrival nice touch with a welcome pack. Hosts sue and Barry very friendly and nothing too much trouble if you needed anything. Would definitely return to this cosy warm place"

"The barn was better than described, there was everything I could possibly need, bed was warm and comfortable and the barn was squeaky clean. The location is idyllic and there are beautiful cows and sheep to watch. The highlight was the log burner that was very welcome on a cold and rainy February night. The host was lovely and easily contactable"
