poor personal service

The hotel was fine, but the owner was less than friendly - I never write reviews, but his lack of friendly service was just too much. There are a lot of steps to go up and he would not help with my bag. Also, if I asked to buy a glass of wine he acted like he was doing me a favor. I was so mad at him that I did not buy dinner in their restaurant even though it has good reviews. I was in France for a month and I never received such rude, unfriendly service.

Vue, hospitalité et qualité de la cuisine

Hôtel de bon confort et de bon rapport qualité / prix. Situé au centre du village perché avec une vue splendide sur la vallée et le mont Ventoux. Cuisine maison de qualité avec des produits locaux et de saison. Accueil convivial. Bravo.

La vue panoramique était magnifique. L’hôtel se situe juste à côté de l’arrêt de bus. La chambre était bien climatisée. Il y avait des fourmis dans la chambre mais peut-être à cause de la saison.

Hôtel CÉSAR BONNIEUX

Nous avons passé une nuit dans la chambre 10 Chambre pas très spacieuse mais décorée avec goût Tres propre et confortable. Toilette un peu petite mais propre Salle de bain avec lavabo et douche propre Seul une odeur d'égout nous a gêné à l'entrée de la chambre. Nous n'avons pas pu manger dans l'hôtel car il faut réserver le restaurant.

Hilltop Bonnieux, Le Cesar

Le Cesar is a small, older hotel & restaurant, typical for a hilltop town in Provence. The room that my girlfriend and I had was quite small (as expected) but it was clean. The toilet and shower/sink are in two, small, separate rooms, within the main room. The service was adequate, but perfunctory. The proprietor will take you to the main door to the hotel section, give you two keys (main door and your room) and let you make your way up the stairs to your room, with whatever luggage you have (no lift). Our room faced the street running through the town, so it was a bit noisy in the evening (cars and people going by); however the rooms overlooking the valley are quite, with spectacular views. The breakfast is continental (good coffee, croissants and bread). We found all of this worthwhile, due to the location; within the beautiful, Medieval hilltop town of Bonnieux.

Petit village magnifique. Nous étions dans une annexe donc nous n'avions pas du tout la vue que l'on peut voir sur les photos (vue depuis le restaurant pas depuis l'hôtel), on avait la vue sur la rue. La prise dand la salle de bain ne marchait pas donc ce n'était pas top, de plus le toilette coule en permanence, pas très écolo. Le debit d'eau était tres réduit.

Au César: un séjour traditionnel au goût du jour

Un hôtel de moyenne gamme tout à fait correct comme on aime encore en trouver. Notre chambre était rénovée, tout à fait correcte, les 105 euros sont justifiés par la petite terrase avec vue remarquable. Au restaurant une cuisine déjà un peu élaborée loin des standards qui met en appétit.

Le patron s'est montré odieux à tous points de vue ! En plus le niveau de qualité des chambres petites, bruyantes et équipées de sani-broyeur est assez désolant. Le pire restant le manque de correction du patron. A éviter en toutes circonstances.
