"This is an older hotel, but it has so much charm. Booked a small double room, was perfect for me and my partner. Bath"

"Staff were lovely and attentive. The breakfast was lovely and made to order. The bathroom was very nice and modern. However the main part of the room was tired. It lacked any decoration and had a tv that was very old and small. The tv was a bit lumpy and not super comfortable. The worst thing was though that the walls and ceilings were not very sound insulating. We kept hearing the people above us stomp around at all hours of the night and being woken up between 2:30-3 because of people moving around upstairs. We could also hear our neighbours talking through the door. "

"Main hotel was closed - so had to stay in the annex. Annex rooms could of done with some pictures on the wall to make it feel more homely."

"Pleasant stay, large room, clean comfy beds. 15/20 minute walk to the town centre & a bit hilly!! "

"We’ve never stayed anywhere as noisy as this. The walls seem paper-thin and you can hear absolutely everything, from conversations, snoring to private moments. The creaky floorboards and loud doors made it even worse, with constant noise throughout the night. Unfortunately, we ended up leaving two nights early because we simply couldn’t get any sleep and couldn’t bare another night of that. However the room itself was fine and clean, but the noise levels made the stay very uncomfortable."

"Triple room was spacious and a proper third bed. Air con was excellent as was thebreakfast. Comfortable beds and great location.Highly recommend. "
