"Considering the age of the property, dating from 1456, the rooms were beautifully modernised whilst keeping the original features. All the staff were very friendly and helpful, the food was excellent and I honestly can’t fault anything. The only negative was the heat but nothing anyone could do about that!!!"

"A truly exceptional stay. Yew Tree Barn is a very special place — full of character, charm and the feeling of a much-loved home rather than just a holiday cottage. Beautifully presented, peaceful and set in wonderful Suffolk countryside. The attention to detail and care from both the owners and Idyllic Cottages made our stay perfect. We have stayed in many places over the years, but this is honestly one of the best. We are already looking forward to returning. A very special hidden gem (although we almost want to keep it our secret!)."
A fairy-tale luxurious cottage - The Tea Caddy

"We enjoyed our stay at Tea Caddy Cottage. It is a lovely setting and a garden with dotted about benches outside to sit in or out of the sun. The downstairs bedroom was wonderfully cool in the hot weather. I even used the duvet at night - unheard of at home in a heatwave. Lots of nice large glasses both for wine and long cold drinks to use and plenty of crockery and cutlery. I didn't do a lot of cooking, but I found everything I needed when I did. The knives were sharp as well which I much appreciate. The bathrooms were a treat to be in with and having two was great. Being able to take our bikes and have a secure storage area to keep it in was very welcome. I really appreciated the well-presented Welcome folder with all its information easily found and clear. The countryside and places around the Suffolk/Essex border were really interesting and so much less bus than our normal environment so making for a relaxing holiday."

"Spa and pool were excellent used both . No air conditioning in our Deluxe room and the Dyson fan just didn’t help much at all . Shame really . Breakfast was good one day and not quite so good the next day ( different chefs they said ) . All staff at the 3 properties were really helpful especially the chauffeuse ."

"Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Glass House. A much appreciated welcome pack was waiting on our arrival. The location was good, only down side was the access through the garden to the entrance. The view of the alpacas in the paddock outside was a delight to wake up to. Overall a relaxing and enjoyable long weekend."
