Perfect hotel perfect location for exploring staff were excellent family run nothing was too much problem great attention to detail room was excellent very spacious warm breakfast was great will definitely recommend and will 100% be coming back

A really amazing hotel. A place with lots of history, interesting antiques around the house - it's cosy, clean, comfortable and the staff are lovely. A lovely river walk to West Bay is just across the road and you're a few minutes away from cafes and restaurants. Would love to go back!! Only potential negative is if you're not so mobile there are some narrow steep stairs. Thank you to the wonderful staff who keep the hotel immaculate and are very approachable and friendly. PS the breakfasts are amazing!

Only stayed one night but could have stayed longer. The lounge / reception area is beautifully designed for a cosy and welcoming atmosphere. The room was comfortable and spacious, with a couch! The breakfast options in the morning were excellent and the staff generally were super friendly and helpful. The car park to the side of the hotel was very convenient too. All round super stay ☺️

Very stylish and lovely hotel. Comfortable room and bed and all of the facilities were gorgeous. Good evening meal and breakfasts were cooked fresh and tasty. We had a great stay and would definitely return.

At the age of 80 dragging luggage up/down 4 flights of stairs. Also height restriction my partner is 6.7 so had to watch his head going up & down. At the end of a four night stay we were feeling quite fit…..or was it exhausted. But a lovely clean friendly hotel.

Had a two night stay, we had the snug room which was quite pleasant but it certainly was snug, especially the shower which was a challenge although perfectly clean. Lovely breakfast and friendly staff.

Fab place to stay. Will definitely go again.
Just had a lovely 3 nights here. Car park was absolutely fine. Always got a space even though each day I went out exploring with my car. Breakfast was really good and a few bits to help yourself with and the main course ordered and brought to you in quick time. Bar outside is really nice and a lovely sun trap. A few Peroni’s consumed once I’d been out for the day. They do good at night but I did go elsewhere. Would have had pizza from the bar but not bailable Sunday,Monday or Tuesday. Locals pop by for a drink but nothing rowdy or noisy. I stayed in a single room with a 3/4 bed. Perfect for myself. The room has everything you need. Kettle and teas coffees etc. coffee machine with pods. Tv. Radio. Lamp. Mini ironing board and an iron.A fan. Fantastic shower and the whole room was tastefully decorated. Will deffo stay again if I’m down that way. All staff really friendly and happy to answer any questions. They also have a honesty bar inside for guests. You take what you want at anytime and write down your room number for it to be added to your room. Snacks,soft and alcoholic drinks available. Room was quiet and perfect for me. Easy to get to and situated 2 mins walkfrom the main shops and pubs etc.

Parking was very difficult in a limited space. I didn't like my room which was top floor under the roof (originally in the attic). The small window didn't fasten properly and I can imagine it being very uncomfortable in a heatwave. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful.

The staff were so nice and went out of their way to answer our questions about the area and provide us with maps. The food was great especially the hearty breakfasts they served every morning. "The Potting Shed" area for drinks out back was lovely. The room was large and very comfortable.

Excellent as with previous stay. Friendly staff. Clean, comfortable and stylish rooms. Very good choice at Breakfast with ample portions and beautifully cooked. On-site parking is very handy.

Lovely comfortable room. Excellent service and breakfasts. Nice decor. Cold bathroom but that was really a very minor point. Quiet part of town yet within easy reach of main attractions.

A Gem of a Hotel
Perfect location to explore West Bay and Burton Bradstock and a short walk into the town centre. On site parking a huge bonus. Hotel had a warm and friendly feel with many thoughtful touches to enhance our stay including fresh milk for tea and coffee and an honesty bar. Breakfast was included in our rate and was excellent - choice to suit every appetite and the full 'Dorset' was cracking. Can highly recommend.

Fantastic stay, highly recommended!
We’ve just spent 2 nights staying at the hotel attending our son’s wedding at a nearby venue. My in-laws also stayed along with our son the night before his wedding. What a fantastic find, the hotel’s owners and staff went above and beyond to make our stay so enjoyable. All our rooms were beautifully decorated, very clean and had everything in it, including an iron to iron all those shirts! The breakfast was amazing (my father-in-law loved The Dorset full English) and the rooms were stocked with plenty of refreshments and toiletries. We loved it and would happily stay again.

A special acknowledgement to the lady on reception on Wednesday night, she was so lovely and really helpful. I really enjoyed my stay here and would recommend to anyone. They are also very eco friendly and put a lot of thought into everything. The icing on the cake would be when the car charging is working

A real gem, great for kids too
We stayed here overnight to attend a wedding and were delighted to find such a welcoming and comfortable hotel which was especially thoughtful towards younger guests. For our three year old there were some books and games on the landing, a step stool in the bathroom and a folder of kids information in the very comfortable family room at the top of the house. The staff even had children’s tableware and cutlery waiting at breakfast and perfect kids breakfast menu. All the staff were super friendly and helpful too. A real gem!

Gorgeous hotel. Perfect location. Lovely stay.
We had a lovely two-night stay at the Bridge House Hotel at the weekend. The hotel is beautifully decorated with tasteful attention to the interior design in keeping with the age of the property. Breakfast was very good and staff all very friendly, providing advice about where to visit without being intrusive. The Dark Bear cocktail bar in the basement was good too. We managed to park in the hotel car park and the location is just a short walk from all the Bridport amenities. The attic room was lovely with everything we needed and thought paid to environmental sustainability. We would definitely stay at the Bridge House Hotel again.
