Spotless and clean. Right opposite the sea Central to most ammenties Friendly staff However, no parking - you have to pay for street parking Room was old and squeky and you could overhear other guests in their rooms No lift, so not friendly for those with mobility issues.

At Paskins Townhouse you get what you pay for. The room was clean and functional. It had everything you need for a stay. Extras included teas and coffees, shampoos and a towel change and clean everyday. Brighton is beautiful and one comes to Brighton for fun, not to stay in your room. Paskins serves this purpose without any frills. I had a very enjoyable stay.

Owners really nice. Great central position for everything from shopping to nightlife. Overpriced at £155 per night for room only with no added value. Have stayed in numerous places at half the price with better facilities. Room ok, shower room clean and functional. Nice quiet neighbourhood. Some concerning structural issues that need checking out with a 120mm drop in floor level across the room. Literally walking uphill to the toilet. Hopefully the owners have this in hand. Great level access to the promenade and nearby shops/bars. Good, timely Comms prior to arrival. Wish the owners every success.

Location was excellent, right off James Street, with plenty of restaurants, pubs, grocery stores nearby. Also close to the beach promenade and Palace Pier. The hotel is on the older side, but still very comfortable, good hot water, great mattress. Owner Claudia was always available to answer questions and gove recommendations. Thanks for helping me with my suitcase!

It was a lovely room, the staff were very helpful and friendly. We loved the decor as well. The hotel was also very well located, being close to the town and within walking distance from the sea. We would like to have stayed longer.

Honestly felt I might have been taking a bit of a risk booking a room at the price I paid for my stay as a woman travelling on her own but found the room to be peaceful and well kitted out and the staff really lovely and helpful. The area is terrific and was only a few minutes walk from the event I had come to attend. Thanks so much folks!
