I stayed for 2 nights on the ground floor over looking the coach park so it was noisy but my love for Brighton over rides everything.

Central but shabby

It’s a great location, and thankfully I was only there for one night. The room was very tired, lots of broken / worn out bits & bobs. Bed was OK and breakfast was great! Great location and cheapest hotel in the area.

Value for money. No complains. There was live music on Thursday night, it was excellent and really enjoyed. The bar tender was very good, flexible and super cheerful. Breakfast was good. Consider about parking if you drive there.

Good central location but the room was very tired and the price was really expensive (£170 per night ) for what we got. We were disappointed with the condition of the room.

My stay at the royal albion.

Well it the staff were very helpful and friendly, the rooms were very clean , although it may need a bit of refurbishment, the lift needs attention, as not working, when i asked if i vould extend our checkout they did this without there fee, and breakfast was as good as you will get, so it is a budget hotel, and aftet my experience i would definitely stay again, for the money, it was well worth,

The place is clean and staff were nice but the hotel looks like it’s seen better days..The toilet in the room looked like it had been shoved in next to the shower as an after thought.I felt jammed in between the wall and shower. I like it’s central location

On the website it said that the room had a view of the city, but it was actually on the basement level and overlooked a wall, not much ventilation, and a lot of humidity. The positive part is the location, crossing the street you are already at Brighton Pier, which I consider the most beautiful part of the beach.

For the price for a night it is very run down and tired. Everything in the rooms is battered or broken. Rooms are big and clean but very uncomfortable beds, poor sound insulation and single glazing meant a very poor nights sleep.

Overnight stay

Normally always stay at the Albion, pretty good value if you time it right. On this occasion I could not open the window as the sash was broken and couldn’t turn the heating down or off, no sleep that night was ridiculously hot. Annoying stench of cannabis in the hallway. Other than that ok.

Room was as bad inside as the outside of the hotel was on the top floor and could hear something banging about in the wind was a bit disappointed as I took my missus for a night away and neither of us felt very comfortable

Extractor fan units on and off all night, very noisy, dust on carpets was measurable with a tape measure, staff unwilling to change rooms when asked as there were too many others waiting to change rooms. An over-all unpleasant stay. We came home a day early

Awful

Awful hotel paid for a superior room has like a budget room windows had black mould round it and when I complained he said it’s an old building !!! As to say booked for two nights cancelled the Saturday stayed in a lovely hotel who couldn’t do enough for you
