"The hotel has real potential,we got upgraded free of charge to a suite. However it wasnt that clean. The bed & bathroom was, but the bedside table was dusty, and where the tea & coffee is kept there was spillages which hadn’t been cleaned. Also dents in the wall,and the carpet needed a good clean. Bed was very comfy though and room was nice and spacious. Just needs a deep clean and a furniture re do! "

"Checked in on Friday, and told that there was a half marathon on Sunday which meant we could not use the road from 7.30. That meant for us, really no point staying as would need to leave before that. So we checked out on Saturday - reception seemed to agree this was sensible and no other option. Then they would not agree refund - seems unreasonable to me."

"Clean and spacious room. Comfortable beds, no noise from the street. Very centrally located hotel, near restaurants, pubs and cafes. Good breakfast selection. Helpful and welcoming staff. Nothing negative to say - my partner and I really enjoyed our stay and would come back without any hesitation! "

"Room was ok car park was a bit sketchy a lot of broken glass from previous cars who had their windows smashed - staff just joked about the car park and how it was park at your own risk anyway. Breakfast was good I liked the omelette station but coffee was dire! WiFi was really poor and gave up with it in the end. "
