"Went down for breakfast around 10am, and a lot of items were running out, the hot drinks machine were broken, so could only have hot water from a flask which also ran out. The flask said "coffee", so it wasn't clear that was just hot water."

"In general, the hotel provides good sized room. Breakfast is good with selection. But out of expectation, when we check in staff tried to charge for breakfast which is included with the room. Otherwise, it’s a good stay and good location too."

"Such an overpriced hotel, uncomfortable bed, the bed was so short that my legs were hanging out of it, the pillows seemed to be made from recycled cotton wool, the shower was on a slope and slippery (dangerous) and there was an infuriating motion activated light that kept going off and on all night with no discernible way to turn it off. Such a poorly designed room and not the experience I'd expect at all when paying £150 for the night - ridiculous."

"Decor old and run down in places, dated and in need of refurbishment. Booked a double room and got the smallest room I can remember by UK standards. Double bed was pushed up against the wall so you could only get in from one side (it was really a single size room with a double bed squashed in!). Breakfast however was good. Overall, as a one night stay for a theatre visit to Bristol, the hotel met our requirements, with a good location, but did not meet our expectations. Car park is right next door, very convenient (£19 for 24 hours) but, as like many other reviews I’ve read, is terribly small with narrower than usual ramps - if you a larger than average car then park elsewhere."
