"The location of the hotel is close to restaurants and grocery stores which was convenient. The room was clean upon arrival and our room maintained cleanliness with housekeeping throughout our stay. I was disappointed in the condition of our bathroom. The pictures of the hotel appear to show that the rooms are updated and/or renovated but the bathtub/shower was not in the best condition as it was very worn. " Our family of 4 and a dog stayed the memorial day weekend in Opal Sands and we loved everything they offered. The pool overlooking the beach was beautiful and my girl even spotted a dolphin from the pool. All the food and beverages we ordered from the restaurant and bar were great with reasonable price. The room we stayed was in good condition overall and I especially liked the wooden floor. There was a construction site in the hotel but it was limited to the corner of the ground floor and did not bother at all. The option of walking to and from the beach was the best part as it was clean and safe to play there until dark. "
