A beautiful property on the river so you can sit outside and view the boats and hear the wind in the trees and birds; so tranquil and picturesque.
Staff were friendly and welcoming, we had our baby son with us and they accommodated room service (top floor) from the restaurant and knocked quietly so as not to wake him. So thoughtful. Our room (a chic room) was spacious - which we needed for his cot - and had views over the historic buildings and river. The room was clean - no shower but the building is old so probably couldn't be fitted in; if that's a deal-breaker it may be worth checking if your room has one. It worked better to have a bath for us with a little one.
The bed was big and comfy. TV, wifi and tea/ coffee (pod machine), fresh milk and a G&T in the room. Lovely.
At breakfast there was a table with a high chair already set up for us; great service. We were told our son could make as much mess and not to worry; we'd never leave it in a mess but it was a nice touch to be reassured. The service was warm and good, a change to a dish easily accommodated, food was delicious.
Check-out was friendly as the rest of the stay; feedback was asked for - all positive from us but again, they care.
Only 2 things to comment on:
There are free (7kw) pod point chargers for customers that currently don't show on the app; big plus.
There's an issue with calling in at the moment, had to call a few times to book breakfast time but very minor issue.
