Great value family accommodation

Thank you to Vera for giving us an opportunity to have a budget-friendly holiday in Cairns. The house has everything you need - clean sheets and towels, comfortable beds, great hot water system, very clean patio area and well kept lawn (fully fenced and used by ourselves), washing machine and under cover washing line, wi-fi, TV, vacuum cleaner and hairdryer. Yes, there is some wear and tear on the property, and dust has settled into the nooks and crannies, but it was as expected. We have 4 kids and they all enjoyed our stay.

The owner was very kind and the place is good. Bit dusty but no problem for us. If the climate get higher to use air conditioners, the owner need to clean these. We never use these because looks very dusty. However, the owner prepared everything we needed. Especially he picked us up at airport by very reasonable price. If you don’t use rental cars you can take bus. The bus stop is very close to the place. The price is only 50cents!

Beautiful Cairns Holiday

Not in the city so we booked a car which was required from airport as we travelled all over Cairns. Spacious bedrooms, and outdoor space. Great hospitality and had shops located within 1 km. Excellent location. Will return soon.

Great Spacious downstairs Apartment

Clean spacious 3 bedroom apartment across the road from shops. Short walk to bus stop and not too far from CBD by car. Perfect for my requirements for business travel. Plenty of room to spread out for remote laptop working.

Pet Friendly

I stayed for a week and Vera is a great host and the front and rear yards are available for your pets to play and make home. Close to town and the northern beaches via western arterial rd. Large living area with plenty of seating and everything else you need for a long stay.

Had everything we needed. Pong pong table was a bonus and loved being able to get our washing done and dried undercover. King bed was a bit firm but others were great. Pillows were to big for us but we just got some cheap ones and left them there for the next people. Free wifi was also appreciated

Home away from home

Vera’s house is spacious with everything you need to have a comfortable stay. Located near shops for food across the street and not far from the airport, night market and Esplanade. The host was very accommodating and ready to make your stay as best as possible! I would stay here again.
