"Great vies but OVERPRICED for what you get. No sea view, no aircon, nor fan in the room, no robes, and a standard Kings size bed, rooms quite small and the window which you had to keep open, opened onto noisy back street. For the price of £300.00 per night I was expecting a little more luxury, which is certainly not how I would describe this hotel, nor my stay here and the price did not even include breakfast!!! Parking is a big problem too."

"The view and setting really made the trip and the staff were so lovely, kind and helpful! Watching the sunset each evening outside on the rocks was glorious. The complementary breakfast was really great, fresh baked croissants and a list of hot options. The rooms were clean and basic but just want was needed really. The location was fantastic for some great walks and sightseeing. I really enjoyed our 2 nights there and would go back."

"A lovely cottage in a tranquil location. I would definitely recommend this cottage if you want a chilled relaxing break, we were fortunate enough to have a few clear nights to watch the stars and see shooting stars. The views across the water looking up onto Rough Tor are lovely, we managed to see the sunrise one morning. It was easy to reach sightseeing areas as well. The hosts are very friendly and knowledgeable of the area recommending places to eat and the homemade scones and jam and cream was a lovely thought."

We had a lovely time.The steps to the upper garden have some rotting wood that could do with replacing - I was worried I might break the step.Even your dog is catered for with dog bowls and poo bags in case you forget yours.Thank you for a great holiday! "A fabulous cottage with everything you need, very clean, garden was lovely & the bonus of being able to use the back field was great for the dogs. Weather wasnâ€™t great for us but made the most of it travelling around, Polzeath beach is about 15/20 mins drive away, Port Issac roughly the same, the owners have a manual with other great places to explore all within 15-45 min drive. Camelford itself has a great skate park if your travelling with kids/teens & a great little well stocked co-op."
