"This hotel pops up on you as it's in the middle of one of the small streets in Venice, but I was really happy with my stay here. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was big and nice and the air conditioning worked great! I also really loved that they'd taken my bags they were storing before my room was ready for check in and had moved them into my room for me once I'd gotten back to the hotel and actually checked in. It was such a great touch! The breakfast options were great and I loved the tea time treats. The location was great and as a solo female traveler I felt completely safe. Would definitely stay here again."

"Every thing is good, we only wish the balcony could be more open with better views. We somehow booked a room for 3 but only shows 2 adults, staff was really helpful and added a bed very minimal cost."

"It's important to understand that in order to get directly to the hotel, you need to hire a private water taxi. NOT a water taxi company, which is what we did going from Marco Polo Airport. It dropped us off at St. Mark's Plaza, and it was about a 5 block walk. I know that doesn't sound like much, but in 100 degree heat, on cobblestones, after a long flight, carrying luggage (we had three bags, three carry-ons, and a CPAP bag), it's a lot. The taxi company was about $90. A water taxi right to the hotel is $202, so pick your poison. The hotel does NOT provide an in-room coffee machine, tea kettle, or tea. We asked for (and got) a fan. The a/c was excellent, the room was beautiful, and the included breakfast buffet was quite good. It is centrally located, but remember cars are NOT ALLOWED in Venice. So you're going to be walking - a lot. The restaurants and souvenir shops nearby are insanely expensive - EXCEPT for the restaurant right next to the hotel, which had excellent food and good prices. Walk for 10 minutes and you'll find much more reasonable places, and the street booth souvenir stands are decently priced. Google "supermarket" and check out Bailo Supermarket. It's supposedly a 9 minute walk, but it took us much longer. You can thank me later. Hope you like wine. Oh, and get the Four Museum pass for Doge Palace!"
