Quick getaway

What a wonderful and tranquil stay we had at the Villa Exner. The service was absolutely fantastic. Stephan made us feel so welcome and served us a wonderful and delicious breakfast. I can highly recommend the Villa Exner.

Die Zimmer sind sehr gut ausgestattet und sehr groß. Kurze Wege zum Pool und Haupthaus und sehr großer und gepflegter Garten. Sehr gutes Angebot zum Abendessen. Frühstück war gut und reichlich, jedoch der Wunsch auf Änderung der festen Zusammenstellung blieb unerfüllt. Es gab morgens wenig Obst. Der Pool war nicht sauber und der Reinigungsroboter mit dem Schlauch lief fast immer und dadurch konnte man nicht ohne Behinderung schwimmen. Alles in allem eine sehr schöne Anlage mit Verbesserungspotential.

Luxury with a personal touch

We slept over at Villa Exner because we were attending a concert in the area. We got back late from the concert, a little bit hungry. The kitchen was already closed but the hotel staff offered to organise a cold platter for us to snack on. It came beautifully presented with smiles, courtesy and pots of tea and coffee. So refreshing to see this passion for the job, where too often staff is unhelpful. Our room was super-luxurious with a palatial bathroom, dressing room and the bedroom overlooked nearby vineyards.

En verklig pärla i Kapstaden-Grabouw

En fantastisk vecka på detta underbara hotell. Vilken fin service av personal och ägarna själva. Som företagare tittar man lite extra på hur de behandlade personalen, verkligen ett föredöme, de tilltalade dem på samma sätt som vi gäster blev behandlade😊 Hur lyckades de med michelinstandard på en sådan liten resturang? Missa inte denna möjlighet Rummen var exemplariskt rena o fräscha. Vi var två par på en 30-årig bröllopsresa. Frukosten var mer än vi hoppats på👍 Vi längtar tillbaka!

Spendor in every detail

This is an oasis of splendor. Each and every detail have been cared for: check in, rooms, welcome drink and the restaurant is out of the ordinary in every way. The food is an art of tastes from a wide variety of ingredients and herbs. The tinking is: how good can we make it. Had some pleasant and informative talks with the hosts. Highly recommended

Amazing stay

Our stay was amazing. We celebrated my wife's birthday and they very kindly upgraded our room at no extra cost. We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was excellent.

Nice hotel great facilities.Food was delicious. We had a room overlooking the gardens which were beautiful. They currently have no liquor licence, so had to buy our own .To our amazement they charged us corkage ,which cost as much as the wine??

Spectacular breakfast!

This hotel is very nice - it is in the suburbs but you wouldn't think so once inside the property. A lovely manor-type house with lovely gardens awaits. Everything is beautifully maintained with great attention to detail. Has a great restaurant with a proper chef on site, and the most amazing breakfast I have ever had included in my room rate, in any hotel. Superb service by restaurant staff and the host. It is very convenient to explore the winelands and nearby attractions. The bathroom was huge with every convenience of a 5 start hotel. Not a great many TV channels, but that didn't bother us. The hotel was good value for such an upmarket venue. The dinner is fine dining, so the prices are applicable and worth it. The mushroom soup is superb!
