Bern Cottage, Tresaith
Bern Cottage in the tiny seaside village of Tresaith on Cardigan Bay is just 200 metres from the safe sandy beach from where dolphins are often seen. The cottage is within a short walk to the pub and the Ceredigion Coastal Path. You can join the path here and walk through stunning coastal scenery to the next villages of Penbryn and Aberporth.
Tresaith is famous for its narural waterfall that you can find whils on the beach and for its stunning sunsets. Sit and watch the sun go down whilst enjoying a drink at The Ship Inn.
This detached cottage is a quirky stone house situated at the top of the hill, giving easy access via a minor road to the nearby villages and also to the main coast road which takes you to Llangrannog, New Quay, Mwnt, Cardigan and Poppit Sands in north Pembrokeshire.
As well as being perfect for a beach holiday, Cardigan Bay offers boat trips, water sports, heritage steam train rides and open farms. The area abounds with wildlife and pretty wildflowers amidst rolling green countryside making it a wonderful walking country with the Wales Coast Path, the Teifi and Aeron Valleys, and the Preseli Hills to explore. Popular Pembrokeshire family attractions such as Folly Farm and Heatherton are all within an hour's drive.
