Ceim house was my own home We had happy years living in our ancestral house.

10/10 Excellent
"There are places you visit, and then there are places that stay with you forever. Ceim House in the Black Valley, KY, is one of those rare places—the Ireland of our dreams.Driving through the Dunloe Gap into the Black Valley is breathtaking, with every turn revealing another spectacular view. By the time you arrive at Ceim House, you feel transported to another world. The house is the childhood home of Agnes, our wonderful host, and you can feel the love and memories woven into every corner. Staying in a home cherished by generations was truly priceless.Agnes is also an incredibly talented gourmet chef. When our group of nine arrived, we were welcomed by a delicious authentic Irish meal, with fresh salads, local bread and butter, and homemade desserts. The generous leftovers made a perfect lunch the next day. The house was incredibly comfortable for our group of 9, with plenty of space to gather or relax. The walks around the property were another highlight—easy to enjoy, surrounded by breathtaking scenery and nature.Mornings, we sat with coffee on the bench overlooking the Black Valley. The views were stunning, but so were the sounds, fresh air, and peaceful feeling of being completely present. It was a moment we wished we could freeze in time.Ceim House is more than a beautiful vacation home. It is history, family, hospitality, landscape, and love.We arrived as nine travelers. We left carrying a little piece of Ireland with us.A bucket list experience!"
