The room was lovely (although a bit dated) and cleaned daily with fresh towels. The hotel is on a busy road, but is in a great location to be able to access public transport easily and all the shops and museums are within a 10 minute walk. We did half board and were very happy with the quality of the food on offer. A lovely hotel for a short city break

All was good except that the room definitely needs to be renovated. Staff were very good in both the hotel and the Cafeteria. However, the food wasn’t very good and the buffet breakfast was very over priced.

Little gem of a hotel

Location is fantastic, on the edge of the sightseeing district with roman theatre etc. Close to both bus and train station. Staff were very professiinal and helpful. Room decor is a bit old fashioned for my taste but perfectly acceptable. Rooms were clean, shower was great, bathrooms had clearly been updated. Breakfast was a bargain at €10 each - small selection but perfectly adequate - various pastries, fruit, yoghurt, bacon, eggs, sausages and various cold cuts. Overall would thoroughly recommend this hotel for a stay in cartagena and we will be back.

Chose it based on location, easy walk from Renfe train (~ 5 min) and to Roman theater (~20 min) along with tapas bars (10-15 min). Just kinda old and worn down. Had to settle for 2 twins, each was rock hard. Had read some good things about the restaurant but didn’t try it. A bit of a funky smell walking in. Could use a facelift, everything was really clean and the room had a great view. Decent value for money, but definitely not luxe.

Quirky in Cartagena

A slightly quirky hotel with a mix of good and challenges. We had one of 3 rooms on 5th (top) floor. Nice view and quiet, however in the morning before breakfast the elevator stopped working, had to walk down one floor to a different elevator which was annoying when checking out as I had to carry luggage down and we both have bad backs. The price was moderate and included breakfast and parking so just be prepared for some inconvenience

Although the rooms are a little dated. This hotel is a lovely place to stay, it is really close to all the major sites of the city. The food in the restaurant is amazing and reasonably priced. On site parking is also a plus although there are limited spaces.
