"We stayed at Hotel Residenza Veneziana on May 16th, 2024 and had such amazing experiences. The hotel is located at a very convenient location right on a quiet small canal, within walking distance to everything. The hotel room is decorated with very unique classic Venetian style furniture and fixtures, something not easy to find nowadays, but the bathroom is very updated, modern, nice and clean. "We booked this property a month in advance. We arrived to the apartment after parking outside the city, taking our three young children and luggage across Venice by water taxi and by foot — only to find out THEY HAD RENTED TO SOMEONE ELSE. They had no options and left my family out on the street to figure it out. Do not book. Lowest possible recommendation. "

"Saving grace is the breakfast served right on time and location is really close to San Marco square but otherwise, the building is really old, the bed is unstable and at one point, I saw an insect (cockroach?) crawling on the floor. At $200/night, I expected at least a well lit room with a good mattress/bed. I wish I took pictures of the real state of the room vs the one shown online. "

"Very friendly owner who messaged us the directions on how to find the BnB. She kept in touch and answered queries straight away. Nice big room. We left our big suitcases downstairs and just took up what we needed. Plenty of cafes etc around."

"Venice is an expensive city. If you are looking for safe, budget accommodation in close proximity to the main attractions.....this is it. Rooms are clean and spacious. Even though we prefer our own bathroom, the shared bathrooms were very clean, and were never occupied when we needed them."

"We got a nice upgrade to a family suite that was very comfortable. The WiFi worked well on the 3rd floor; he had installed a repeater. There was TV, but we didn’t speak Italian so we didn’t watch. The bathroom was a little small, but at least it was an ensuite. It was an easy walk to the vaporetto stop on the north as well as the south side of Venice. Nicola was very friendly and helpful and available whenever we needed him. It is a very nice property. Venice is a city of lots of walking!"

"The hotel is situated centrally within walking distance to main attractions in Venice. Aside from the low water pressure for the shower, everything was great! The breakfast could use some improvements and bedding could use an update. If these things were improved, the stay would be a plus plus. -Thank you very much for pleasant stay! "
