We had dinner in the restaurant which is award winning but the servive was poor. I was trying to order a drink for 10 minutes, 4 wait staff plus a host with only only 8 tables to serve. My partner ordered the pork belly with prawns only to realise the prawns hadnt been cleaned and intestine was still inside. We went to the bar for a drink but they had only someone coming in to attend bar rougly every 15 minutes.

Lovely relaxing getaway
Good relaxing hotel with great food and very professional staff in main hotel and spa. Set in a lovely location with amazing trail walks and views

The area was beautiful, the room was not.
Pros: country-side lodge feel, decent rates, big rooms, TERRIFIC breakfast included. Cons: Can't open windows (at least in the room we had), heat on too high. Minimum 30 minutes drive from Sligo. Biggest complaint: room was super shabby, dusty, cracks in ceiling, styling from 1986, bathroom tile moved when stepped on. They seriously need to update. Very nice staff

Beautiful Hotel, wonderful food, Amazing Surroundings. Only drwaback was the room was downstairs (1/2 basement) which was cool and damp
