We only stayed one night - I wish we could have spent longer here. We had a drink in the Boathole a fabulous relaxing dinner at The Kitchen, walked the walking path one the grounds and visited an old cemetery and megalithic stone site. You can fly fish, shoot clay pigeons, do archery or falconry. Very classy and beautiful place. Definitely worth the money to stay here you won't be disappointed. The staff and very kind and classy.

Great hotel very comfortable. Will definitely be back unfortunately the only downfall is the food. Food not good if they master that then it would be perfect.
Great staff

As it was our wedding anniversary I requested a nice room, and they listened. Just lovely, right beside the river. A very relaxing stay, no Covid worries, no crowds, I hope to return on our great big anniversary next year

Nice hotel. Great Spa. Very friendly staff. Good food. Rooms very comfortable. If I was looking for a fault I could not find one. A really lovely experience. We will be going back.

Very comfortable stay and everything clean. Really comfortable beds and all required amenities in room. Housekeeping staff all great, majority of staff in restaurant were excellent, same in bar.
Breakfast was excellent and though we did have to wait a bit, once seated, service was excellent. Gym a bit worn, could do with a facelift but pool and pool area lovely.
Would highly recommend a stay in the Castlecourt, Great location, lovely staff, great food. We will be back. Thank you :)

Staff in all areas of the hotel were very friendly and helpful. I had an issue with the Tv in my room which was sorted out 5 minutes after I informed staff. Had an evening meal which was excellent as was the breakfast. Overall I would say that this is an excellent hotel, well run with friendly and helpful staff.

I rarely write a review of a hotel, but I feel compelled to review Ryan Hotel because it was such a pleasant stay. The food at the adjoining bar, the Crow's Nest, was great and the BusEireann stops in front of the pub. The breakfast was good, the king size bed was the most comfortable on our trip and the room was very pleasant. The best thing was the staff who went to great lengths to help us, including asking a guest who was being picked up by a friend and driving to Galway to give us a ride.
