In the era of COVID-19, travelling today comes with a few more challenges. Keep in mind these valuable tips before hopping on your flight to Central Maui:

• Know the restrictions and rules in both your destination and origin. It may not be possible to travel depending on local circumstances, so be sure to check before you book.
• Wear a face mask during airport screening. A TSA employee will ask you to temporarily lower your mask for ID purposes.

• You're permitted to take one container of hand sanitizer up to 12 oz (350 ml) in your carry-on bag. This will need to be removed for X-ray screening.
• To reduce handling during the screening process, place items such as your loose change and phone into your carry-on instead of the bins.
• If you're planning to take food on the plane with you, put it in a clear plastic bag and then into a scanning bin. This reduces the likelihood that a TSA employee will need to handle your food container or carry-on bag for closer inspection.
