"Staff are very friendly and accommodating. The room is spacious, clean with tasteful decorations. My son especially loves the heated swimming pool. Staff are very helpful and offered to open the pool earlier and offered to late check out so that he can have a swim before we left."
"We had a very friendly welcome and stay. Breakfast was excellent. The beds were comfortable and because it is a countryside location, it was very quiet. Both Kate and Rambo the dog were great hosts."
"I really enjoyed staying here - nice room, good food, a skittles alley to play on, and really friendly, accommodating staff. The only issue was that the accommodation can be a little noisy as it faces onto the beer garden of the inn, but I don’t think that spoiled our enjoyment (just something to be aware of) "
"The hotel had a grand and atmospheric dining room, and the staff, both at breakfast and checking in/out were most welcoming and friendly. A very good breakfast too. "
"The location was great, the room was very well appointed!! The bar was great to have on site. We didnt get to spend any time in the town due to being on a walk. Would recommend and would definitely stay again. Thanks "

"With two dogs, we appreciated the safe and scenic spaces to walk around. The Bark Park outdoor field, with its sandpit and climbing equipment, was brilliant. Overall, we couldn't fault anything. The restaurant/food was perfect.
Thank you. 😊 "

"Everything about our stay at Cliff View was perfect. It was a real home from home stay and perfect for our family holiday. The house is well equipped and furnished to a high standard and extremely comfortable. You also have use of a lovely garden. It is attached the owners house which isn’t obvious in the photos but that wasn’t a problem and it didn’t feel like we were sharing space. The property is based at the top of Lyme Regis with a steep hill to walk up and down but there is a scenic route through the fields beneath the property down to Monmouth Beach. We had no problem parking in many of the towns car parks if we wanted to drive. You are spoilt for choice for restaurants, each meal we had was excellent. Recommend a drive to Hive Beach Cafe in Burton Bradstock for amazing seafood. We would definitely return to Lyme Regis and would stay again at Cliff View. "
"Great location at the quieter end of Lyme right next to the Cobb, harbour and beach. The staff were really welcoming, friendly and hardworking. The food was good too. Lovely outdoor spaces to enjoy with a pint overlooking the harbour."
"We had a lovely week at Rousdon! The estate is very picturesque and peaceful, with some lovely walks. The house is in the old stable courtyard, and had everything we needed and was very comfortable. We found it very conveniently located for Lyme Regis, and the wider Jurassic coast. We would very much recommend it!Note: as of April 2025 the private beach is inaccessible, but you can still walk down to join the coastal path,"
