"We wanted to totally get away from people for 6 days and just enjoy eachother. We work a lot and you sometimes forget to take TIME to just be. This home was one of the best places we have ever stayed. We did go to Ellijay one day and went to the Roof Restaurant & shops… other than that we stayed put! We shopped for groceries before we arrived and so we were set. Matthew has not forgotten one thing. If you need or want it he has thought of it. We truly loved the layout, beauty and uniqueness of the home. The bed was absolutely the coolest thing and a neat comfortable way to sleep. Every single thing about this house made you feel at home. Looking out the windows seeing the beautiful mountain never got old. And it’s sooooo quiet. Thank you Matthew… if you ever want to sell this home look me up. Cynthia & Faith"
Riverbright Treehouse on the Toccoa

"Tree house was very clean and cozy. Bed was comfortable, and view was great. Only complaint was the bathroom sink had a huge spider with hundreds of baby spiders in it when we arrived, my guess is the cleaners didn't want to deal with it because everything else was very fresh and clean. I also wish I had something to cover windows during the night just because I dont like windows without covers while I am sleeping. I loved that they provided playing cards and a few other games as well. Overall great stay."
The Roost - On The Toccoa River

"Overall, The Roost was a great mountain getaway for a few days before the craziness of the school year sets in. The home is remote, but we had no real issues with connectivity. The home was also well appointed with every need thought out for guests- kitchen supplies, towels, toiletries, etc. The rooms were spacious and perfect for our stay. We enjoyed the view of the Toccoa River and using the fire pit for S’mores each night. The only negative thing was that the home did have a damp feeling and smell throughout our stay. I did notice a tub of Damp Rid on top of the fridge. If you stay there, you might want to bring some small tubs with you. I understand that there’s not a whole lot to prevent that, and it did not impact our stay. I just thought I would mention it in the review. Otherwise, our stay was lovely, and we enjoyed our time away."
