"Perfect for a West Ham and east london stay. Everything is close and the hotel is well maintaned. The hotel is situated close to railway tracks. You can hear trains in the room, but it did not bother us. Complementary earbud was available but not nessecary. Staff superfriendly"

"The room was clean and the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was good, not a huge selection but enough choice to accommodate most people. The Oakland is in a very convenient location. Saturday night they have a live band which can be noisy if you want the windows open. The bar was busy and the atmosphere friendly the band when we stayed was very good. The joining walls in room are thin, we could here the tv and hairdryer from next door. "

"Lovely hotel and location if transiting at Stansted. The shuttle bus is timely and easy to use but will cost you £4 each way"
